I was there for the Nova game. The Siena crowd was LOUD. Disappointing loss by what a great night. Bennerman still goes down as the best Siena player ever in my book. Brown and Pickett deserve to be in the conversation but Bennerman was the man imo. I’m partial to Hasbrouck and Ubiles. And of course Franklin, Rossiter and Moore. I have my favorites as well but Pickett and Ubiles are the best players ever to don the green and gold. Brown and Bennerman are the best Siena players ever but weren't on the basketball level of the other two.

They were all great, but man Brown could do things with the ball that were hard to explain, the flair and wow factor on his passing was something …..he could score on any defender and couldn’t be pressured like Moore, slick on D with a lot of steals, he beat Stanford plain and simple, and had he not been sick they probably would’ve beaten Minn as well, he is the only player that I can recall for Siena that was faster with the ball than without, and he was incredibly fast, ……… Bennerman was simply a ridiculous scorer, that 1 season as a Sr he was unguardable and his NIT run was legendary, he carried a mediocre group almost singlehandily to the title….

Only one year, but I'd say Jack McClinton is probably the most talented guy to ever have played here.

The guy made three straight all ACC teams, 2x on first team all ACC. 2nd round draft pick as a 6 ft PG. I love Jalen but McClinton was more talented than him, he was just 4 inches smaller.
