4 Players in our league (2 no shows) picked 7 saints who played at least one game As a saint in the 90s. The 90s was an exciting time with a team fresh off a tourney run, an all time nit run and another tourney team. Since it's Siena there were also some lean years. When it was all done there were 13 1,000 point scorers, the number 3 rebounder, number 2 assist leader, #1 3 point shooter and #2 blocked shots leader. It was also a time of loyalty as only 50-60 saints played during this time period.
But who chose the best team?

Much more balanced teams this time compared to last.

I don't think anyone can argue with the top four (brown bennerman Faison Robinson). What does everyone think about the next four, who were selected as the top 8 90s saints players?

Compliments to our four "coaches" that picked the teams. I had a heck of a time just picking the team to vote for! It would have taken me much too long of a time to choose the players 4-7. But my memory isn't what it used to be, and even that wasn't good. It was great seeing all those names again.

BTW, do people remember Colin Weaver? 6'9" 235 freshman from Houston. He was really good!! Hated watching him transfer. He would have been a stud for us. Had a real nice career at Arkansas St. in the Sun Belt.

I will chime in since others have already and it has been so slow today:
Team 1 - athletic, scrappy, rebounders, shooters, and ballhandlers but not a true center among them
Team 2 - Marc Brown and a lot of bigs, if you have ever seen King Kong Bundy's match at Wrestlemania 3 then just imagine the opposite. Super slow but would control the boards and let Brown shoot all day
Team 3 - lot of nice guards, would put up a lot of points but how would they defend?
Team 4 - started very strong, well rounded, but not sure on the depth

Thats okay, I spelled it right when I drafted him

Depth is also an issue when fishing, as the waters get shallower, the best fish get fewer and fewer - it usually takes some time to up anchor and head for shallower waters after you spend your initial efforts catching the big one out in the open ocean...just sayin'

I went back and forth between three of the four teams. My wife thought I was nuts! Actually she thinks all of us on here are a little obsessed.
