Stop with the Franciscan way. For those that want to live in the past, remember the good times I agree with you. Siena back in the 60,70’s was a special experience for the Capital District. I was there enjoyed the closeness, ethical, moral teachings. Remember when one had to take religious studies and philosophy courses. Yes it was and is a great school
Well times have changed. Colleges are now a business like it or not. We cannot go back, to small of an institution to pull that off. Only institution I know of is Hillsdale and really do not know a lot about them. Under Brother Ed we made great strides at Siena, he literally pulled the college back. May he RIP, Siena owes him much. Hopefully Siena will find a replacement of his caliber, be difficult but achievable.
Unfortunate times have changed. As a private college Siena must watch out for itself. We don’t get state money without some kind of conditions. To survive unfortunately Siena will need to continue to change adjust to the business of education. Remember the past fondly but compete in the current environment

How many on this board would be in favor of playing Syracuse at their building every year with no games at the TUC ever? Sent from my LM-V405 using proboards Siena doesn't deserve a home and home from Syracuse. Compare attendance numbers.

A 2for 1 with Syr. since they recruit in this area would be justifiable IMO.

Syracuse in non-conference road games 2020 @georgetown 2019 @ohio State (ACC/B10 challenge) 2018 @georgetown 2017 @wisconsin (ACC/B10 challenge) 2016 @georgetown & @st John's 2015 villanova & @michigan (ACC/B10 challenge) 2014 @st John's 2013 None 2012 @nc State 2011 None 2010 @florida (SEC/Big East Challenge) We could offer them a 10 for 1 and they aren't coming to Albany unless they made any sort of promise to play a game in the area for Girard his senior year. Even then, they might try and play St John's at GFCC rather than play at Siena.

Let’s revisit when Boeheim retires ... when he ran score up against Siena I lost all respect for him

Hate to bring this back up, but do we know UAlbany's official requests? Did they really want a home/home with games at SEFCU or just to split the ticket sales at the TUC?

then please let's not play them..I hope Siena doesn't waver and grant them a home game at SEFCU. .I don't miss the game nor do I even follow them anymore. relegated to I don't give a hoot status. and I have a Masters from there.

Agreed. I thought Albany merely wanted to alternate being the 'home' team at the TUC, which is something we should have done. If they are adamant about games at SEFCU than got to pass
