With just under a month to go before Siena Basketball gets under way, it's time to pick some winners. We enter our 7th year of the Pick'em Contest and looking for a good turnout. Last year we had 37 shooting for the title with Indian82 nudging out Saintsandeagles in a tiebreaker by a mere 20 MOV points. Our goal is to beat the 2016-17 entry total of 41. Interest is high for the team this year and this may bring out more contestants to break that record. Let's do it! Once again, for the newbies out there, you will pick the winner of each game on Siena's regular season schedule. Then pick the margin of victory (MOV) for the team you believe will win. If the result matches your pick, you get a win. Should there be a tie for most winners, the overall MOV will determine the winner. Good luck to all!

Indiansaint, nows your chance!!! W every game Yes, that’s why I’ll never win this contest. It’s too hard for me to pick games where I think they’ll lose (no mater how rational picking them to lose against say a Duke or Wisconsin is). I might get in the contest this year. If I finish in the top half, I’ll consider it a victory (just as I do in the ncaa Tournament contests).

Need the first one who entered picks to come forward or I'll have to delete them.

I have Siena at 20-9, 14-6 MAAC (6-3 OOC)....maybe a little ambitious since Carm is a first year head coach but I believe we have the best player in the league in Jalen, another top 5 guard in Don and one of the best athletic bigs in Burns plus Manny Camper and a bunch of intriguing new comers.

I have 18-11, 13-7 MAAC, 5-4 OOC.
Might be more aggressive than should be in OOC (4-5 is probably the right choice) and perhaps even not aggressive enough within the MAAC but 18-11 overall seems a solid middle range goal for this team.
20+ wins would likely mean a top 150 team and put them at the higher end of their 100-250 rank spectrum. This assumes something probably between 150-200. So, basically I'm going with the middle ground.

Just got my picks in and must say it is AWESOME to see optimism from the majority of contestants heading into a season again! Go Saints! Go Noles!
