I like Golson, but we still have Camper for 2 more years. I think we’ll be watching him running on the breaks for awhile longer. Golson probably won’t be needed that much until the 2021-22 season...especially if Sutherland is any good. Manny is a junior this year. He'll only play with Golson for one year. I agree though Golson probably doesn't start until 21-22. With the other scholarships I think we sign another PG and big man (transfer would be good to replace Burns). Depth and talent at every position. Wouldn't that be exciting! With the time and effort that our staff is putting into recruiting, I can't wait to see this roster develop. Colin is a great example of the solid type of prospect and athlete that this staff is capable of bringing in. The TU is going to be rocking again soon!!!

Relax guys,we have a Coach with a plan and a staff working to get the right type of player to execute his plan. Comments on who will play and how many minutes without ever seeing the live people is a little silly. The Carm minutes will be won in practice. Try to hang in and enjoy the good days that start in November👏

When you use the term if.....is any good, the implication is that he may not be. This wasn't accusatory, but I thought you may have seen something that indicated that he had a flaw of some sort. That's all.

That's all. I never speak in absolutes. There is always a chance a kid under performs. Even with guys like Pickett and Wright, I always acknowledged the unknown. Sutherland seems to have a lot of ball skills and enough athleticism to get the job done. However, he's just 6-7 and not overly quick. A lot will come down to how tough he is rebounding/defending and how good his jumper and handle really are. He's not going to have the speed to out quick the 4 guard lineups or the more athletic undersized bigs, nor the height to dominate big frontcourts. He's going to have to succeed on skill and hustle. He has to be THAT much more skilled to succeed. Guys like Bisping succeeded by being smarter, more skilled, and hustling that much more. I think he has a lot of the skills, but performing them at the D1 level with the right motor becomes the question. We won't truly know until he's out there in live games.

No, the whole point of a message board is not to speculate. That’s only part of it. There’s also sharing hard facts, commenting on what we’ve actually observed (which can result in different opinions and interpretations of seeing the same thing), and of course learning about the myriad of prospective student-athletes who we’ve never heard of before, and will never hear of again.

It's also to clarify what others are saying. That's how people learn.Even 81 year olds.

New video from Colin. Kid is going to be fun to keep an eye on this year and even more fun to watch when he's in green and gold next year!

It would be nice if he grows another 2 inches then we have another future center.
Wonder if he has any siblings that grew 5 inches their senior year of high school?

Nice Dunk... Except for the Multiple Travels! Hope he can do that in a game on a 10' hoop while being guarded. Without the walk of course. Go Saints!
