Ah......and Nelson Richardson a 6’6”Center matched up against a gigantic Syracuse Orange squad! Was that the game we gave up 149?

I don’t see how Fran mccaffery could be considered. He’ll be better known for Iowa than Siena. I don’t blame him for leaving but an all time monument should be reserved for the players who spent their entire career here. I chose ubiles over bennerman because he played a major role on an ncaa tournament game winning team.

If it’s pretty close I always go with the player that won the most.

We used to call him "Ga Don't"...as in Ga Don't Shoot!!! Jim Secretarski could light it up...I still remember the game where he hit 9 3's vs. Iona at the ARC...totalled 36 that game. What a performance!

Bennerman, Brown, Rossiter and Hasbrouck For my money, Bennerman is the best Siena player I ever saw. Only reason his overall stats don't beat Brown is because he was a freshman during Brown's senior year. Exactly.

Bennerman will probably go down as the only MVP of the NIT that wasn’t on a winning team. His performance that weekend was ridiculous.
