With the U Mass coaching staff fired who is he going to be meeting with? He knows Carm, right? Stability factor may come into play. He also would have friends on the team. From what I've seen Adams-Woods will be meeting with an assistant from George Mason, Wyche representing Siena, and the HC's from Buffalo and UMass(also knows Lucious who is still on the staff). He does know Carm which obviously bodes well for us as well as having at least one teammate who he's already played with before(Pickett)

Appears it was only the assistant coaches. Jordan listed as DOBO along with another who is the assistant to the HC

Virginia just won the title starting and playing a mostly 4-guard lineup and a forward in Diakite. Granted, one of the guards was 6’7” Hunter. We’re not Virginia (or their playing style next season) and I’m not saying we’re going to win a title. But selling a 3 or even 4-guard lineup shouldn’t be that difficult and neither should playing that way when you have 6’4” Pickett, 6’5” Carey, 6’6” Camper, and 6’9” Seymour is just a big shooting guard. Plenty of time to start and rotate Woods in that group with Burns and/or another grad transfer as the big. Play fast with good ballhandlers and shooters at almost every position the majority of the time.

I thought also played with Sutherland. Maybe my old brain can't keep all these names straight.

I think it will come down to UB or Siena. UB has a rising Sophomore (Jeenathan Williams out of Rochester) who also played with Woods on City Rocks and who is not a point guard but more of a three guard. They do have a senior point but in their system (as possibly Carms?) the point is not a dominant ball controlling point as Pickett was last year.

Pretty sure it was Oats and Hodgson who were recruiting MAW. Both are now at Alabama

One more and things start to get real hot.

Is there a reason everyone is so quick to dismiss George Mason?

If you remember Mitch said the same things. Buffalo coach looks like a better version of Mitch. An older guy who wasn’t good as a HC previously. I think it’s Siena, UMass and Mason for MAW.

I know the whole 'on the ball/off the ball' thing is maybe an issue for MAW but I was kind of encouraged by what his coach said regarding Siena's chances. MAW seems to see the upside of Siena...it's just that he needs to be convinced of his role.

Who wouldn't want to play with him for a chance to get to the NCAA tournament? They are good friends too...fingers crossed on this one!
