Just got my tickets to both the Quinnipiac and St. Peter's games. The guy at the TUC box office said Sunday is close to being sold out. I asked him if more tickets would be allotted and he said most likely if the demand is there, FWIW.
Let's go Saints!!! Rock the TUC!!

I'm sure most of the capacity issue is because of the contract they have. With lower attendance last year Siena probably decided to cap the available seats to save money and help afford JC and Patsos' settlement. It does seem like they could easily adjust though, both the TU and Siena would be better off.
Also check out the prices on Ticketmaster and the fees. I think that's what will turn people away more than announcing sellouts which sounds exciting even if it's not entirely true.

I think MTS and possibly others have said this, but it should be the ultimate goal to work toward the #1 or #2 seed. With such a short bench, that way Siena would have no game on Thursday, a quarterfinal on Friday, no game on Saturday and then semis and final on Sunday and Monday. That is the easiest path for any team, but especially for the Saints. Any other seed # 3-#5 means the team would have to win three games in three days, a very tall order. Or, worst case, a play-in and win 4 games in 5 days, another very tall order.
So, Quinnipiac, St. Peters, Marist (who is playing really well and coming along under John Dunne), Canisius, and Niagara are ALL CRITICAL games. Man, it is hard to believe that in February I am trying to figure out the best path to a MAAC championship. I really had no clue that the coaching staff and players would be able to turn it around this quickly. Wonder what Prince and the boys who exited are thinking now? But, as coach has said, he wants players who want to be at Siena. So do we as fans!!!! Exciting to be thinking that way instead of "I won't get tickets to the tourney because I know Siena will be out the first game and a one and done."
As the team thinks, one game at a time, team will be ready to give it their best on Sunday. We as fans need to be ready to let Quinnipiac know they are in our house and not let Kelly go off on us. Go Saints!!!!

Go Saints!!!! The key is to just win if we go 5-0 we can’t be worse that the two seed. But if we can go 4-1 there’s a good chance we still finish second as long as we win the Quinnipiac and Canisius games (probably the toughest two games left however). Siena has to defend the 3 - QU loves shooting threes. Young, Kelly, Williams and Ragoni can all shoot it. Bundu can cause problems inside and Marfo is a solid glue guy. We need Manny to hold Young in check and Kadeem to have a big defensive game. Hopefully Siena is about to breakthrough from deep. We have to score. Can’t miss chippies at the rim. If we can score 65 points I like our chances in this game and down the stretch.

Go Saints!!!! It’s hard to put the importance of this game in perspective, but you did a good job. This is a big game. Win, and the team is that much closer to a 1 or 2 seed. Lose, and then it’s likely back to let’s see if we avoid the pig. Coach Christian has coached in and won some big games, most notably two conference championships. Given the upgrade in conference (assuming this year is a one off) and the huge fan support here this has to be up there for him. The players have not been in too many games like this and they will only get bigger, if they win.

Iona was flopping and trying to draw fouls and the refs would have none of it. In watching QU on ESPN, they do the same - a lot - spend a lot of the game trying to convince the officials that they were fouled. If we get a good officials crew, that would go a long way toward a Saints victory.

2 parents and 2 kids, with seats behind the basket, costs $71.75. Factor in parking, snacks and a drink and now you have plenty of families turned away or not wanting to go back after spending that much. Please send an email to marketing! They need to come up with a family package to draw the 35 to 50 year old fans in off the streets with kids in tow. Thats the market they have ignored in favor of the faithful old guard....we ain't gonna live forever!

The $5.00 Dunkin’ seats are behind the basket, so a family of $4 can get in for $20.00 total. Also, adult tickets behind the basket are $12.00 and kids 12 and under are $8.00 without a voucher

Thats the market they have ignored in favor of the faithful old guard....we ain't gonna live forever! GB is right... Don't get me wrong I love the baby boomers (I'm the son of boomers) many great people on this board are boomers and even some silent era folks. But the oldest boomer is now 72 years old (the youngest about 55). When I was a kid I remember seeing many of the greatest generation at our games. Also those were some of the biggest crowds despite us winning MORE during the Fran era. Maybe TV was a small factor but remember they didn't start showing most of the home games on TV until Fran left. Siena has to get people my age and quite frankly younger back. Obviously winning will help. As does Saturday night and Sunday afternoon games. There's a reason the Manhattan, Quinnpiac, and Marist games will draw the best of the year. Siena needs to open up more seats (not saying the whole arena but make 10K available) and charge less. Have more $5 ticket nights. Once you start winning you gradually increase ticket prices. Good days are coming I believe with Coach Christian...we're getting a little early taste this year hopefully we can keep it going and next year we really take off.

But..if they are close to sell out, you have to buy online and pay fees lest you chance shut out. A family snack pack wouldn't hurt either if there was a package price instead of the a la carte rip off for foid, drinks. Unfortunately, no control over that. Pretzel, popcorn, 2 waters =20.00 for us. Hoping to see a good turnout of young families for the autograph session after the game tomorrow; not a bunch of old farts unless they have grandchildren in tow.

Siena's website brings you to Ticketmaster and that's where I got the prices from. Anything close to a sellout isn't worth trying to buy right before the game.

Definitely worth the trip for a small coffee to grab the vouchers. Agree the Ticketmaster fees are crazy, especially now that they are mobile tickets not sure why the fees are so high per ticket
