going into tonights battle at the TUC...…………….Siena is 12-6 in Albany ……………….and at New Rochelle, Siena is 11-7 (also 0-1 at MSG)...……………………………...however, in the MAAC tourney, Siena is 0-3 in Albany...…..and 0-2 at road neutral sites (plus they have yet to beat IC in any MAAC tourney since they joined the league)...………………….what is most interesting is that even though the past 8 yrs of Mitch & JP, Siena has more than held their own against the Gaels overall...………...tonights game is HUGE is so many ways, momentum, standings, etc...……………………...GO SAINTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never would have thought this team would be in a position to be in a 'huge' game situation this season. Keeping all things in check, just enjoying the season!
The next big step for the program is to market the hell out of the 35-55 demographic. The 'old guard' is getting older and we need a resurgence of community interest.

(Hewitt's final year ... biggest guy punch of a loss I can remember) The years that Siena was clearly the better team, they did not meet in the tournament.

(Hewitt's final year ... biggest guy punch of a loss I can remember) The years that Siena was clearly the better team, they did not meet in the tournament. oh yes, I was pissed at Hewitt, when Kirksay went out with the injury, he pulled OFF the press and let them get back into the game...……….he returns and Dyree Wilson goes off...……….that yr, Siena was clearly the best team but on that night they didn't live up to the expectations...……………the maac final under Patsos it was a toss up, and as we know that one went into OT, Siena failed to get 1 stop in that OT, had they gotten 1 defensive stop they would have cut down the nets that night...………………….

This may sound weird, but I think a loss somewhere before the Tourney might not be bad. For one thing there are good losses which invigorate the team so complacency doesn't set in. This team hasn't shown that but as success continues it has a way of showing its terrible head. I'm also superstitious. I don't see them winning 13 games in a row.(My bad.)

Then think about the Quinnipiac game. One game at a time.

Saints lucky to be up 4 at the half....we need to defend the three-point line and make those bunnies. Also way too many sloppy passes. Cmon guys...let's go Saints!!!!!

Then think about the Quinnipiac game. One game at a time. With all the stars lining up perfectly the last 8 games in order to win 7 of them. It was bound to happen, snap back to reality. That's why it's one game at a time. Terrible loss but have to put it behind them, can't let it linger. Need to focus on beating a better team then Iona on Sunday.
