They don’t look at the scoreboard but hopefully they look at the shot clock.

Imagine if we were having a disappointing season and a coach said this.... this board would be a train wreck. Lol

Imagine if we were having a disappointing season and a coach said this.... this board would be a train wreck. Lol It could get pretty ugly. I give JC a lot of credit. His philosophy makes sense but it sounds quite difficult to implement. A lot of discipline! And to stay as "chilled" as he is, I don't think most coaches (or us for that matter) could do it.

Yeah, I think it is coach speak. They always know what the score is. Further, they always know what the standings look like. What they have been successful in doing is getting the players to be in the moment rather than worrying about the outcome. You can know the score and still be in the moment.

But, I also think Iona is better than what we saw the first time and they have to be pissed about the way that game ended. I expect a competitive, hard fought game tonight.

Tonight 4-10 is OK from 3 that's 4% better than usually. He had 12 pts in 28 mins, both 3's and pts were above his average this year, but look at the rest of his stats tonight, 0-0, 0-0-0-0-0-0. Look at them for every game, softest 6'9' player in the MAAC! One dimensional. Need players, not just a 3 point shooter.

Back to Earth. QU’s a big game Sunday.
Like I said earlier today, the most important game is the game in front of you!
This team looked like they uncharacteristicly lost focus! Good teaching moment.

Ironically I think we did look at the scoreboard up 51-38...seems like we stopped playing and just wanted the clock to run out. It’s not the loss that hurts it’s how we lost it. We really gave this one away after stealing a few. But the only thing we can do is to not let it happen again and go beat Quinnipiac on Sunday.
