Yeah because he lost this for them. Fisher had a bad game. Siena needed to go into him to stem the run but he had already missed like 6 or 7 layups. Then when they went to him late he near fell on his face traveling Bad loss, siena gave this one away Oh and fishers man scored 25 and grabbed 13 rebounds I never said he cost them the game Darwiche was in because he is quicker than some other players and could give a foul in the right situation. He let his man get deep on him then made the terrible decision to foul anyway. He was already relegated after the Monmouth game. He didn't play in 3 straight then less than a minute of floor time the last 2 games. He won't play much the rest of this season unless things go very wrong, then even more difficult to get any time next season when the backcourt gets many new options.

Bad loss, no getting around it, after we went up 13, Degnan tries behind his back on fast break, Fisher posing like he is going to shoot from 35 feet, dribbles up and takes a horrible 3 from 30 feet. Not sure if Evan is reading his press clippings but Agee ate him up tonight. Evan took some horrible shots, a few times Manny Camper was all alone under hoop and Evan forced up bad shot. Earlier in year Evan was passing out of double or triple teams,. Of late seems like he just wants to get his points. Early in 2nd half Hureter is in, gets ball on 3 point line- not a player within 10 feet of him and he won’t shoot or drive. Jamion was not happy with that and TH didn’t come back in. ( this is what Kadeem was doing earlier in year and reason why he wasn’t playing) Iona was doubling Jalen all night, they weren’t going to let Pickett beat them and nobody else stepped up. I was afraid of the stinker tonight; Iona definitely wanted this game more than we did. We could have put Iona away tonight with a win, now we are in danger of falling to PIG if we lose to Quinny on Sunday. Shake it off boys and back to basics!!

As another poster posted elsewhere it is "all about the coaching" JC is NOT the next JC., but he will learn. I reiterate this team goes as far as EF can take them. It is that simple.

He didn’t play the entire game and I really don’t know why he was in at end of game- it certainly sealed the deal but this game turned at the 8 minute mark, up by 10 and just turned them over. Behind the back dribble gone bad followed by several quick, empty possesions and Iona was right back in the game. Probably the worst 8 minute stretch we played all year. Need to get one of two out west and run the table at home to get a day off. Didn’t like taking a two with 12 seconds left when down three given our free throw shooting issues and lack of offensive options- I thought trying to get Sloan an open look was the best option. So we move on and try to finish 4-1 over the next five.

This game just shows what a great job the coaching staff has been doing all year.Evan should learn that when you have no shot it's ok to pass(he threw up a half dozen shots that should not have been taken).I generally do not criticize but when they announce him as player of the game!! I must be missing something. And no Darwiche did not lose the game. There is enough blame to go around and it wasn't all Evan.Just venting.GO SAINTS!!

That was a game that we just gave away. JC was the most animated that I have seen in the timeouts trying to fire up the team. Could it be that this team thinks its better than it is? I surely hope not. But despite the loss this team has far exceeded expectations and even though I'm disappointed in the effort tonight I'm happy so far with the season. We Siena fans are getting that winning taste back again so it's tough to swallow a loss on a game we should have won.

With that said, the league is so bad they can still find their way and steal this thing.

Nothing to do with fans

Here’s all I’ll say about last night’s very disappointing performance: scoring in the 50’s will only win you so many games, there was a serious lack of aggression on offense after the lead got to 13 and I didn’t exactly agree with Fisher’s post game comments. He said the team as a whole was soft but quite frankly he was the softest one out there. Should’ve had 20+ points but it appears he is incapable of making a shot 2 feet from the basket. Also he should not be taking 18 shots a game, especially when he only made 7. The lack of aggression on offense really hurt the team because Iona was getting away with a lot of bumping while on defense. If they drive to the hoop and continue to attack the refs have no choice but to call fouls which forces them to lighten up on defense and likely eliminates some of the double teams thrown on Pickett. Also shame on the fans, last night’s crowd for a team that has been playing very well lately was honestly pathetic. Hopefully the team can bounce back and win out the remaining games on the home stand with a massive matchup against Quinnipiac Sunday afternoon. Go Saints!

Last night was a tough loss. I have every confidence the team will be as prepared as possible for Sunday. We have two freshman and a sophomore who sat most of last year playing most of the game. They are 18 and 19 year olds. I do not fault EF for trying (and failing) to put this team on his back last night. He is supposed to try. They need to take what they can from the game and learn.

Evan was distracted last night ... he was expecting his own bobble head then he saw the picture frames distributed to season ticket holders 😈

Wedn SDSU night will always be bad for attendance. The maac shouldn’t schedule games that day. Having said that, losing at home never helps.

Pickett scores the first 7 and then was pretty much contained and deferred too much late in the second half. A lot had to go wrong to lose today, which is usually a good sign. But they have to start playing better at home if they want to make something of the season. This happened in a earlier home loss this year. I think he made like 4 3s in the first 10 mins, Siena had a big lead and lost focus/momentum late in the game.
