Fisher foot, questionable. Although he’s playing well, he’s been looking like he’s really been laboring in the past several games. Wonder if this has been the issue all along. Initially I chalked it up to playing a lot of minutes. He’s a key guy, can’t have him out!

TU article - did not practice and JC would see about today and having him for the balance of the season was important. Article didn’t say when it occurred, I just though he’s been laboring lately, maybe it was just my imagination, anyone else notice?

I hadn’t noticed anything but my guess is he’s feet are just getting sore because of the usage. I think he’ll play today but the bench needs to be able to be very productive outside of Kadeem. Also like to see Jalen get back on track as he’s averaging only about 3 assists over his last 6 or so

He’s been off. I think he’s been gutting it out, gets in a grove and gets his numbers by the end of the game. Camper and Degnan have improved in rebounding so that takes some pressure off Evan.

I think Degnan is athletic enough to play Fishers position, but then we lose his defense. This is where Seymours lack of athleticism hurts. If we could just gets some offense from Huerter that would help. Let's not forget Jalen's torn ligiments. Sometimes these injuries get worse over time. Particularly for a point guard in reference to assist fall off.

Jalen’s assist numbers dropping have little to do with Jalen. It’s how opposing teams are guarding us. Masiello made it his mission to just force the ball out of Jalen’s hands... we eventually were able to crack it and get lots of 4-on-3’s which led to good offensive possessions. The games before that, teams have been jumping all passing lanes and staying home on drives trying to force Jalen to hurt them with his scoring, and he has done that when necessary. Will be interesting to see the Rider strategy on him, especially with a short turnaround. We are running a lot less of the pure PnR looks because of the looks defenses are giving us, but it opens things up for more straight-line drives for Camper and Smithen when teams play man or lots of high-post distribution when teams play zone.

Defensive adjustments to take away the pick and roll and his teammates not connecting on a higher percentage of open threes impacts the assist totals as well.

He’s a warrior and if he can go, he will -albeit probably not close to 100%.

usual starting 5 for today's game That's good. Hopefully no practice was just a precaution.
