One option that hasn’t been mentioned, and while it’s a long shot and tough to do, he could graduate in 3 and play at a HM that 4th year without sitting out, in an attempt to prove himself further. Didn’t work out for Cremo but it is an option. However long he is here, let’s enjoy it and wish him the best with whatever he decides.

His academic struggles were a huge reason why he didn’t have much interest coming out of prep and high school

Good post HJ and right on the mark- nobody is taking a shot at Jalen’s game, but let’s be real. Quitting college after 2 years at Small school and going to G league is no way to make NBA – in fact no guarantee Jalen would even make the G league ( and its 37K a year salary ) more likely to end up on low level European team making not much cash, and after a few years when washed up you have no degree. That route can be disastrous and not sure why anyone would even suggest it. Other than lottery picks (which Jalen isn’t) that’s why comparison to Ja Mourant is ridiculous. Almost all small school players in NBA today made it the ole fashioned way ( 4 years at college where they perfected their game) Lets just enjoy Jalen while he's here, instead of silly speculation about the NBA or G league - Jalen had his tryout at NBA camps and he was nowhere near ready-- if Jalen wants to make NBA by far his best path is to stay at Siena for 4 years and work on his game. you can count on one hand how many small school players that left early went undrafted and ended up in NBA On the other hand here are a few small school players that went on to successful NBA careers that stayed all 4 years in college..BTW many of these guys got drafted after their 4 year career Kyle O'Quinn- 4 years Norfolk State, J.J. Barea Northeastern 4 years , Alfonzo McKinney WGB 4 years, Jeremy Lin 4 years Harvard, Courtney lee 4 years Western Kentucky, Richaun Holmes 4 years Bowling green)Tyler Johnson 4 years Frenso state , James Ennis 2 years juco then 2 years at long beach state, Kent Bazemore 4 years Old Dominion Torrey Craig, 4 years South Carolina upstate , NORRIS COLE, 4 YEARS CLEVLAND Damian Lillard, Weber State, C.J. McCollum, 4 years lehigh Tony, I completely agree with you that everyone should sit back and enjoy every moment that we have with Jalen. HJ, I agree with you that no one's opinion matters here when it comes to Jalen’s future. I actually appreciate your realistic opinion on the situation. My point is we have this player. This player is really good. This player has come and changed the outlook of the program. This player has done nothing but bring positives to the program. All while being a great student representative for the program. With all that said, I just don’t see why there is a reason for us a fans to critique what he needs to do or what he should or shouldn’t do regarding his dreams. He ultimately needs to do whatever is best for him even if that is something we wouldn’t do, something we wouldn’t have our player/child do or something that ultimately doesn’t pan out for him. We should just appreciate him as a person and player and stand behind him. Because at the end of it all this is his life and his dreams, not ours. I understand that there are some fans who genuinely have concerns that he might make a mistake that could negatively impact his future. However, I also believe that some fans are more concerned that we might potentially hang one less banner if he leaves prematurely, than if he succeeds or not.

Yeah, but the fans at St Mary’s hated him!! Killed him on the boards!! 😂. I criss crossed Patty Mills with Nash and two irrelevant programs in the Northwest. I wouldn't say St. Mary's is irrelevant and Santa Clara was not when they had Nash. I hope irrelevant is not code for mid-majors...I expect that from the Power-5 snobs not from a fellow mid-major fan. lol Name one player from either school....ever. Besides the two we just mentioned. Ps-if you do, I ll know you cheated.

The only thing keeping them from being in the NCAA every year is Gonzaga.

I only feared one name being remembered and it was Brian Shaw from the late 80s. The only other one, and I’m mad I forgot him, was Dellavedova, who played with LeBron in Cleveland. Other than those 2, the only way you’d know any other guys from their program is if you were born and raised in Moraga, California!

(Other than him I could only think of Paddy Mills and Delly, I remember them having a huge Australian player pipeline)

Siena picked 6th...kinda odd that Pickett is preseason POY but they picked the Saints 6th.
I'm fine with it...we have a lot to prove!
