No guarantee game on the Cal Poly trip. Xavier is the guarantee game.
We will start two new series, hosting Bucknell and playing at Yale.
Still looking for one more home game but could play one more on the road if we find an opponent who would be good to have on the home schedule in 2020-21.

A little surprised we aren't loading up the schedule with potentially our best team since Fran left. Going to the west coast to only play one game doesn't make a ton of sense. Maybe we start a home and home with a mid-major such as San Francisco or St. Mary's? Siena's non-conference schedule is - Home: St. Bonaventure, Bucknell Away: Xavier, Harvard, Yale, Colgate, Cal Poly With 20 MAAC games and no MTE that leaves two spots open unless I'm leaving out a game?

I thought Holy Cross was only a 2 year series. Must've been renewed then?

Just one guy's opinion. You want kids with ability to come play for you, you don't have this kind of schedule. Yeah, you guys who think all wins are created equal and you get to go to more home games, good for you. Siena needs to adopt the attitude "We Create Warriors". If you want to win the race to the bottom, this doesn't look like a bad path. You want to become the the next 'Zags or X, this ain't the way to go. Yay!!! We beat Yale... or Colgate.. you want more talented kids, you sell them on we played 5 HM.s on the road, and won twice, with you, maybe that becomes 4 times. Kids have huge ego's that need to be fed (the only thing they know). Monmouth over-did it a couple years ago playing 11 of their first 12 on the road, including 5 HM's (okay UCLA twice) but from where I sit, that is much closer to the way to go. Peace.
p.s. I would much rather be the worst team in the best league than being the best team in the worst league. Don't get mad, get better.

Bizarre post. Let it be. If the team plays good basketball this season, things will fall into place nicely.

Yeah, load up the schedule for a 267th ranked team with no guard depth that doesn't yet know for sure whether the hell its best player and key to the team will even be playing on it. By the Kenpom numbers, 4 Patsos' and 2 Mitch teams were better than last year's Siena team....whom Siena is 'hoping' it will be better than. Let's just keep things in perspective here.

Oh good, Yale and Bucknell. Be still, my heart! Yale and Bucknell are really good teams. You want to schedule 10 BCS teams root for a MEAC or NEC team.

Did Fran schedule Major or high mid major teams his first two years? We played Holy Cross, Colgate( I think) and teams like that. He scheduled the higher teams as time went on.

Yale made the NCAAs last year. Harvard has multiple top-150 recruits and is seen as a top 50 team for next year. Bucknell has made like 3 NCAAs in the last 4 years. Colgate danced last year and brings a bunch back. Bona is a top 75 team. Xavier a top-30 team. Every single team in that list is better than any MAAC team we’ll see all year.
Getting paid to play the big brands is fine, but for a program that prides itself on its fan base it’s a pretty shitty thing to do to get no home games. Siena fans want to see good mid-majors come to town.
