You'd need to beg and hard and with trip to SEFCU next year, so could be helpful to fill your schedule in two years.
Why? Its a great community game that Brown and Pastos ran into the ground. Besides that the last time the game was held at SEFCU, between the ticket and parking prices, the FANS got ripped. Hold it at a venue that can accommodate all the fans. 50/50 revenue split! We've been over this man... Like 100 times.

Playing more home games than road games is not feasible if you want to play a tough schedule in this day and age. I’d love 15 home games but 13 or 14 is fine by me. Realistically, any exempt event you play will either be 3 neutral games and a road game or 2-3 roads and 1-2 home/neutrals. At best, you get home and homes to fill it out and you have 5 home games in the non-con on a great year. Anything less than 14 is a disservice to the players and fans. At least with 14 you get 14 home, 14 away and 3 neutral. You would think with our growing fan base we could get the 14. I know I wait to renew each year until I see the schedule.

But sometimes with the scheduling of home and homes you get stuck with 13 one year and 15 the next.

Ok if I knew there would be 15 the next that would be different, depending upon what they do with the ticket prices. Also the goofy exempt tournament where we guarantee a low major should not happen anymore. We’d be better off playing 27 games.

Please. It leads to these unbalanced schedules that we are facing now. It’s one of the major reasons the maac has slipped to low major status. They need more equitable deals with like minded conferences. We have one of the top attendance in the country for a mid major and we don’t use it to our advantage.

If no exempt event, we would play 29, not 27.

Jamaica Classic Montego Bay would be a good one.
Guaranteed Power 6 game (Georgetown-18, Florida State-17 previous participants). Tournament also has a television contract with CBSSN.

We should be leveraging our attendance potential to get them here.

I'm confused as to why you think that us having a big fanbase makes it more likely for teams to want to play us.

I'm confused as to why you think that us having a big fanbase makes it more likely for teams to want to play us. You don't think it is leverage for us to try to get a home and home with a good low-major or high mid? I understand that they don't necessarily care that our games are well attended, but I could see it being used in a couple of ways assuming they would want to get a good home game for $$ (for which they dont need to pay a guarantee) like the big boys A. Go down the list of possibilities. Them: Nope - We want a 2 for 1. Us: Sorry, we're looking for a 1 and 1. We'll look elsewhere. Next. I don't think a Marist, UA, Niagara or Canisius could do that? We KNOW we're going to get or 7K even without them. Get somebody decent and we could get 8-9K. But you got to have an AD/coach with balls to be able to walk away and move to the next one. B. Sell the fact that we travel well and will bring some fans of our own. Go to a place we have a lot of alums and promote it. I think A has more bang than B, but you got to have the balls to be able to move on. And it has to be a GOOD team. We had St Joes here not long ago. What about those teams in Philly or upper A-10 or Conf USA, Missouri Valley. Maybe I am simplifying the process.
