Imagine Geronimo on Siena when we were still the Indians. Haha! In many ways we still are! At least to you and me! There are still a lot of "Indians" on this board.

I trust there are more Indians than saints, but then I speak only for myself... I do know one true saint who has since moved away but still posts now and then on this board...

Is this a time given over to prayer? Only if Jalen gets drafted.

A little prayer never hurts anyway. If we don't get Hasan Ward, hopefully it's not Bona either. Really want to see someone commit, though. Go Saints!

City Rocks are about to tip off in case you care to track a few guys we are on. Jake Cook from Shaker was offered by JP, he's at Vermont Academy now. Andre Jackson is going HM. Myles Wilmoth was offered by JC. Tah'jae Hill also playing who we just offered as well as Noah Hutchins who might be reclassifying to 2020. So, if you are bored and want to watch grassroots hoops, here's a link: www.twitch.tv/eyblct7?tt_content=text_link&tt_medium=live_embed

City Rocks fell apart late so they go 1-3 for the first weekend, which isn't great. - Symir Torrence is going to be a stud at Marquette. Kid is a beast. Can't believe we even got him on campus. We won't be getting him on the downswing. Think a more athletic, better ballhandling Pickett (maybe not quite the passer, but same idea). - Andre Jackson stunk. He's never really under control with the ball and they just dare him to shoot threes and he's not even close. Don't get the hype. Super athlete, but not a super basketball player yet. - Tah'Jae Hill, who we offered earlier this week, is really good. Shot-maker who loves to shoot the 3 and can play with or without the ball (was almost always off the ball today). Good athlete, confident. I'd take him in a heartbeat. - Noah Hutchins is excellent. good handles, crafty at the rim. Probably the second best player on the team today behind Torrence. He should go higher than the MAAC even though he's small. - Jake Cook, the Shaker kid, played a bunch in a first quarter before City Rocks decided to go small. Not especially athletic, but a solid frame who'd profile as a rim-runner and roll man. I'd take him. - Reese Brown and Myles Wilmoth, who both have Siena offers, are more prospect than player at this point. Long athletic kids who are kind of tweeners at this point. Not sure I buy them as high-major kids but would be good MAAC guys. Will Amica wasn't there. 2021 Jai Smith who we offered the other day played a few minutes and was fine.

I’ve been Noah’s #1 fan out here and still can’t figure out what our staff doesn’t like about him? With a basic guarantee to start next year, and maybe a little this year in a 3 PG set, I’d have to think Siena would be an attractive place for Noah. If he goes Ivy I can live with that, but another school on Siena level, it ll hurt! Lol

Just watched some tape on this kid. He's got stones. Takes big shots and makes them. His HS team is real good, and he beat a team with a guard going to Virginia in the game I saw. ps--St Johns, their opponent, had a real good '20 2G (#5) named Leggett that can really play. Might be a stretch for us to get involved. He's probably got the A-10 all over him.
