Nice hit piece by Siena's propaganda department... Wow-have you no sense of history??? Rodger is a shill for UA-it would behoove you to peruse that history. FYI-I know the Lynch clan well-Kelly's mom is a dear friend and former colleague. So I'm fairly objective here.

Nice hit piece by Siena's propaganda department... Sometimes your posts lack all sense of credibility. This is one of them.

Nice hit piece by Siena's propaganda department... Sometimes your posts lack all sense of credibility. This is one of them. No, they absolutely do not. Don't expect anyone here to see this piece for what it is. Wyland scooped everyone and they 'aint happy that someone wasn't toeing Siena's line. Thus the Siena propaganda department went to work to in putting him in his place. Or what, you actually think the TU is objective when it comes to covering CD sports...they 'aint fools, they know who plays in the building they bought naming rights to.

Yeah, Roger is such a UA shill that no one at the school is talking to him over the Cremo/Nichols report...wake up!

Jamion didn’t think he was getting the job until Monday! Wyland got lucky— maybe he knew he was the favorite but the TU didn’t get scooped.

this is what Rodger got, that Jamion was the first candidate that Darg talked to, and that the AD was impressed...........but that's it, no offer or contract was given at that time...............Wyland decided to go out on a limb to be first even though nothing was decided.............Singelais had the same info, but knew to tread lightly until more info in the process developed.............

So I will remain blissfully indifferent about anything UA. (I earned my MS at UA but always wore my green and gold at graduation ceremonies)

He took a guess that happened to be right. The facts are that while Christian was the favorite to get it, he had not been offered the job as of the time Wyland reported it was a done deal and he was the next coach. Had Wyland reported last Friday that Christian was the first candidate interviewed and had emerged as the favorite, that would have been accurate. But reporting he already had the job last Friday was not. That's bad journalism.

Wyland scooped everyone and got publicity out of it whether he was right or wrong. That’s what the media does.
If he was wrong he still gets attention. Win win for him. The fact that people are talking about him proves that.

I have read enough about Wyland on here to think that I really would not like him. However, at least he puts Siena on the news. Canisius, Niagara, Bona, and UB are barely a blip on the radar on local TV in the Buffalo market.

When he reported that Christian was a done deal, no offer had even been extended to him. That didn't happen until more than three days later, after an offer to another candidate apparently was turned down. He comes off looking like a clown.
