Who said Brown is on the "hotseat"? I did not read that anywhere in the article? It said he was going to be "under harsh spotlight"....

Or if he doesn’t get along with his boss as has been long rumored. So his boss is on the hotseat. Not even close. No way Benson is on the hot seat. Another uninformed statement. UAlbany sports programs have flourished since his arrival. Brown does not get along with anyone....

Maybe I'm a bit off but I have a problem with Cremo's reason for leaving. I get being competitive and wanting more than anything to play in the NCAA tourney.
I don't get a guy who is so competitive that has had to leave his team/teammates to chase success. A real competitor would relish the challenge of leading his own program to the promised land.
Just my 2 cents.
As for the article about Brown, I didn't have any issue with it. He's on safe ground (as he should be) but it is a horrible look when your to be senior backcourt transfers out together.

Although I do not follow UA all the closely it did surprise me a bit. Now with his leaving and reading his comments as to why, it makes more sense. I think that is one of the biggest challenges of athletics today, kids are more about themselves, than they are about the team.

Who can blame them when coaches now so easily cast them aside - see SoSo regularly pushing student athletes that he recruited to our Siena family out the door.
