A little Sunday music:
Jerry Garcia's brilliance - Takes an 80s R&B classic and puts his own bluesy stamp on it.

I find this one so touching and powerful. This was from Jerry Garcia's LAST concert (about a month b4 he died). He looks like hell (only 53!) & his voice isn't great but it kind of makes the lyrics even more poignant. His guitar still sounds great - his same clear, crisp tone.

Had a chance to see this show in Port Chester last night, but I snoozed on it. Still kicking myself.

Christmas music, unfortunately. I still think some radio stations start it way too early (especially the one or two that play 100% Christmas music this early).

Queen - highly recommend Bohemian Rhapsody - will be seeing it again - final 20 minutes of movie is the entire Live Aid Concert - classic rock, only downside of movie is the overly exaggerated 4 incisors that gave Freddie Mercury a "unique" look, and OBTW, a phenomenal voice due to the expanded oral cavity

It ended at Live Aid? Didn't get into his illness?

Hopefully, Siena will be using one of Queen’s more famous songs in the very near future.

A friend posted a Joni Mitchell song on FB, so, as I do, I went googling her and re-discovered this. Apparently, it is on many Christmas albums, but it's certainly not jolly. More about loss at Christmastime.
