Horrible game to be without your best ball handler. You will see that Richard and Smithen are better pgs than they were given credit Notice I said best ball handler, not best point guard. At this time, I don't believe we have a player on the team that is especially good at creating for others, at least not within the system that is being forced upon the team.

If given an opportunity and allowed to play through his mistakes (like a number of less talented players on this roster are) I believe that Kadeem could have been a very good player at Siena. He has a good offensive skill set, a good basketball IQ and is a good defender. All he needed was the trust of his coach. Look what he has been able to do when he has been given minutes and allowed to get in the flow of the game. JP was forced to play him last night and the kid produced. I believe that Friday could do the same if given the chance.

Kadeem’s treatment at the beginning of the season was just wrong & just another example that shows Rex has an agenda and it’s executed at the expense of his players.

It's always someone (Or two)..yanked in and out then sent to the doghouse. The record shows that kind of management result.

I don't agree that he is the best ballhandler. And as you saw with Khadeem's performance there are a couple pgs on the team that don't get a chance to earn time

Anyone know whats going on with Horns ankle? He's looked good in the warm-ups and didn't appear to be hampered by it when he played in the Manhattan game, albeit only for 6 minutes.

Seems like he tried to play on it against Manhattan and made it worse. Now they are giving him a chance to let it heal.

Richard had 4 assist as the full time starting pg. I also counted at least 5 missed shots that were created by Richard for his teammates. That's why I say if Horn was out there receiving some of those passes he would have been more efficient and put up at least 10pts.

I think he is being held out so team won't win without Penn. Then Patsos has an excuse for the losses. he doesn't need anymore. The team was losing in droves before Penn went out and even before Nico went on permanent sabbatical. And I don't think Friday would be the difference in many games. Would be nice to see him play, but he isn't swinging an L to a W for most of these games of late. Really no one can help them at this point. Just play out the string and see what happens after the MAAC tourney. The team and program are on life support and excuses will only get JP so far.

and the thing that sucks the most is, he has had the MAAC tourney here for 4 years and will have seen Monday once. and now it is going away again, so he took zero advantage of that gift.
Time for a new era in Loudonville.
