And that doesn’t mean go out and schedule a bunch of Bethune cookmans to ensure a 9-4 start. This program should be in the top 150 year in and year out, not 250. There is a big difference in watchability between the two levels.

.500 is a good thing. It gets us a third of the way to the MTS trifecta. Now get the three man recruiting coup and the championship in 2019 and MTS will be grudgingly on board with Patsos not being fired. LOL

Sounds like the light bulb may have finally clicked for Jimmy that the team is far more efficient and effective when they play small. Fingers crossed that we see lots of four guard lineups once MAAC play starts.

5526 on a tough travel night is encouraging. The team is getting better, only 5 made threes last night. I think this team is on the verge of blowing out some teams with a hot shooting night from deep. I think this team is definitely going to be in the mix for a maac title. 0-0 in maac.

Just keep showing up and keep the status quo?

Just keep showing up and keep the status quo? My standard doesn't play in to the equation. Siena admin and budget are paramount in that decision. Take the money out of the equation and .500 or better this year, land a solid 3/4 player that can contribute immediately to go along with the California guard and top tier MAAC finish in 2019. Not that far off from your championship demand. MAAC is down this year, top tier this year is doable, but so is mid pack or lower. This team is playing better but needs to stay on track and be consistent. We all want to win and dance. That is always the goal. Recruiting is always the key if impact players don't sign it's not going to happen.

I'd guess 3200 last night I would agree - 3200 didn't show, the balance did....

Given, it was the Friday night before a holiday weekend, students are home and the weather outside was frightful, not a bad crowd at all. Still out numbered the other D1 program in town on one of their good attendance nights. I was pleasantly surprised how many old timers made it out last night.

Still out numbered the other D1 program in town on one of their good attendance nights. I was pleasantly surprised how many old timers made it out last night. Students are not a valid measuring stick, they don't show when a game means something - it was a good crowd, the loyal fans (even though many are not happy OR fans of JP) always find a way to get there. Comparing it to what the other D1 program does is ridiculous - SEFCU has limited space - a sellout there would be a huge story even if our 5500 paid seats had fannies in 80% if them. Lastly, us old timers have an advantage - our walkers work great on ice/snow....

Right... Bottom line is the true fans our behind this program and will come out and support them no matter what, despite what some want to say on here.
