Wth how can they have different prices for the same color coded section Those of us that wrote John about our dissatisfaction may have been put on a "do not increase their prices" list - at least one could hope ....

No increase in my ticket price for this coming season although there was an increase last season (16-17). I paid $289 per ticket for the 15-16 season, paying $304 this year and last season.
There is a new program this year; If you can't make a game you can exchange your tickets for additional seats to another game.

I do not claim to have any inside information on the subject, but I think the most likely outcomes are, in descending order: (1) the game is played in 2018-19 on the same basis as it is being played in 2017-18 - not part of either school's season ticket package, but season ticket holders get first crack at tickets. (2) the game is played at the TUC as a Siena home game as part of a new multi-year series with Albany getting a home game at the TUC in year 2 of a three year series and year 3 being either a Siena home game or like the 2017-18 scenario. (3) the game is not played at all. (4) the game is played at SEFCU.

I don't care about how the money is divided up. I don't care what the floor says. I don't care which fans' season ticket holders (if any) get tickets to the game. There is absolutely no way this game should be at SEFCU Arena. I have nothing against SEFCU: it's a decent mid-major facility. However, making fans pay 40-60 dollars per ticket is ludicrous. This game is a great chance to get fans (especially younger kids) to start loving basketball (for both teams), and making it cost $200 for a family of 4 to attend the game is prohibitive to most. Play it at the TUC, let 10,000 fans come at reasonable prices, get bus loads of students to the game, and make it the premier night in Capital Region sports. I'd rather not play it at all than play at SEFCU.

Until UA gets equal footing at the TUC (meaning they can sit where the season ticket holder sit normally), UA will continue to ask to play the game at SEFCU.

Lol I don't remember exact prices from previous games at TUC, but memory serves that $35 was a pretty good seat, compared to the $40 worst seats in the house at SEFCU. You also could get $15 or so tickets at the TUC games. This game should be accessible both financially and space-wise to as many as we can, regardless of who gets the check at the end of the day. It just makes no sense to play at an inferior facility.

When I look at my bill from 2 seasons ago I was given an early renewal discount. Maybe my seats were always $304 and they gave me a $15 discount to not bail. LOL. For reference I'm in 105.

I can't vouch for the accuracy of this, copied the image from the UA board.
