I'll probably renew, more out of family tradition and friendships with people who sit near me. No extra $ to the program though, for it to be pissed away.

Probably renew because it is only $70 a ticket but considering virtually every game will have $5 tickets next year I'm not so sure it will be worth it. Will likely depend on whether the Albany game is included in the season ticket package since that is the only game that certainly won't have $5 ticket offers.

It actually makes sense to buy the cheapest seats and then just move down to the premium seats like so many do 5 minutes in to the game

What I have read previously is that the Albany game will NOT be part of the season ticket package.

What I have read previously is that the Albany game will NOT be part of the season ticket package. So stupid, the quickest way to ensure lower attendance.

I don't think that will be the case with seeing lower attendance.....................this is the 3rd game of the contract if I remember correctly, with this last one being held at the TUC with no home team designation, and therefore gen admission tickets open up to everyone...........in fact, for this series to continue, this is really what should happen from here on out...........game should continued to be played each yr, and MUST be played at TUC........give each school students an allotment of seats (likely behind each basket) and the rest is up for grabs, first come first serve, with both teams splitting the gate................Brown has gone on record as saying he won't play at TUC if Siena is the home team but his AD wants the payday...........

Of course attendance will be lower as all 3,000 Siena season ticket holdersc would have to purchase separately. This is why Marc tournament games are sparsely attended too given the magnitude of the game.

I find it odd that those that enjoy college basketball, and Siena fans in general would have a hard time attending................do Siena fans always need to have everything put on a silver platter for them...........more than likely, the athletic office might make it a bit more convenient for season ticket holders to purchase them in a easier method, just sayin'..............we know there are ticket holders that don't go to the MAAC tournament (or even any post season event held at TUC), if they can't get their same seats every time out, geeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzz, next thing you know they would balk at the possibility of a ticket license which is what they would be getting but not paying the premium for having such rights to a particular seat..........

Just the reality of the situation. The easiest thing to do is include them in both school's season ticket package--- guaranteed 4,000 sales right off the bat.

Simple fix here. Browns AD tell him he's playing the game at the TUC!!!

JG normally I see where you are coming from, but not with this. The only fair way to do this is to keep the game totally out of the season tix package. Season tix holders for both schools should be given at least one week 'pre-sale' period to log into an account w TUC box office and choose their seats. If they miss the deadline or don't want to pay the price (which I am sure it will be an increased amount) then they can just choose to skip the game. The crazy thing was UA putting Siena fans in position to have to buy season tix to SEE the game at SEFCU. If it ends after this year, so be it. It really does not do anything for Siena at this point IMHO.
