lots of posts here, so just to add that they had chances of course, but they called TWO BS fouls on Bisping..............the # 4 was not an offensive charge as Crumpton slid over and was moving as Brett drove to the basket, then the # 5 on him was bogus since he was clearly going for ball as was Griff player with each contacting each other.............at those two juncitions in the game, Bisping was taking over and wasn't being stopped...........they didn't lose because of bad calls, it is just when things continue to go bad they can't catch any breaks!!!!!!!!!!!

The fact the we require almost a perfect game from our four seniors to possibly create a big first half lead is just too much to hope for. Our bench has potential, albeit totally undeveloped and with no chance whatsoever of seeing it pan out this season - we ride the big four and hope for the best - clearly we aren't going to change how we prepare or play. I recall Thomas Huerter was going to get a meaningful shot today - that seemed to evaporate into the ether early on - did he even get a touch. Other coaches from our past were known to actually design specific plays for guys to get them into the flow - boy do we miss that coaching technique!

No shivers or Willem again today. Willem would have matched up better on both ends today. Yes his defensive is questionable, but Nicos defensive effort today was awful, and he wasn't making shots.

AJ and Scott actually questioned JP's use of the next to last TO - they concluded he must have wanted to set a defense - excuse me coach but that's one of the things, other than baseball games, that coaches use practice floor - give certain set names or numbers and call them out - so incompetent when it really counts...

Maybe Shivers was ill. There was no reason not to see that kid on the court today, like Mitch, I forgot all about him. WB might as well go back home and start a windmill repair business.. better chance with that than getting playing time for JP.

Ok WB plays decent vs the Bonnie's (yeah he was suspect on D but so is everyone on this team) and we don't see him again. At least he can score. Great coaching! Shivers must be the latest in Rex's doghouse. It can't ever be vacant.

When this senior class is gone it will get better. They don't have a very high basketball IQ. The worst group of a 1000 point scorers ever assembled. They cheapened the 1000 point achievement. Like a wise man recently said: Again you still just don't get it. You have serious critical thinking disabilities. I feel sorry for you.

When you watch Siena fans (and I use that term loosely) actually happy after a loss, it makes it worse than the actual loss. Happy not the right word-- apathetic is more apt term. Yup nobody is happy but people just don't care anymore. Next year this board will look like some of the other MAAC team boards. Ghost town.

Another main issue for this team, they are just terrible on defense........I mean they were making some nice runs offensively but because they have trouble stopping teams from scoring, they continue to fall behind in games......never more evident than past 2 games vs. VT & CC..........and many times the result is a foul call rather than a clean defensive stop................staff should concentrate on more variety zone D instead of man, because they aren't stopping anyone from scoring!!!!!!!!!!!

HOT TAKES:
- That was a very fun game to watch.
- Canisius is way better than anyone expected this year. 1-2 in the MAAC is an awful early look, but we've played what are shaping up to be the 3rd, 4th, and 6th best team in the MAAC so far.
- from the parts of the game I saw (tech difficulties aside) the team had a tenacity about them that I appreciated.
- I understand that this is all faint praise for a team that was expected to be a MAAC stalwart this season. As things lay, if this team can play like this for the rest of th season, at least interested in watching them.
- Mike from Clifton Park didn't call in?!? Queue up the Simon and Garfunkel LOLOL.
