Riz, I added Poole for his hardnose play, forced to do things (for lack of other options on the team) that he wasn't recruited for. Not as extreme as David Ryan, but a lot of similarities. I am sure there are others to be nominated. "Josh with the gimpy knees" fits the mold but not sure the game generally hung on his performance. Great guy, limited minutes does not work in his favor.

Guys like Brett are worth the price of admission all by themselves. They take the hit and keep on ticking, doing all the little things, the dirty work that every team needs. Go out there and win by outworking the other guy and never quit. We have had so many over the years, the Siena "All Madden Team". I posted a bunch of names a few years ago, there should be a post season award for these guys and they should get a plated lunchpail for a trophy at the end of the year. Guys like: Justin Miller, David Ryan, Scoop Jordan, Steve McCoy, Ryan Rossiter, Rob Poole... A very "articulate" group

I would add Alex Franklin and Tay Fisher not to mention Tom Huerter Sr.

Wouldn't it be nice if he, along with the other seniors, could be heard at the End of Season Banquet by all of his fans? If the "concern" is focused at running too late, perhaps Jumbo could relinquish the floor - we've heard him before, and before, and even before that......and it's way too early for baseball stories/analogies anyway.... We used to have a great tradition honoring graduating seniors until the Derby came along and mucked up our calendar of "events"! Nice to see you could take a thread about Brett and turn it into a rant about Jimmy. The Siena Basketball Field of Dreams is covered with budding rants just waiting to be harvested....since some of you appear to have an allergic reaction to that species, I'll try and pick only the biggest ones and let the rest go to seed (or the MAAC Board!)....

Maybe it's a slightly different type of criteria, but guys who refused to lose. Their positions didn't require them to do as much 'dirty work' but they had that same attitude of 'keep on ticking'. I don't think extreme natural talent and scoring ability should disqualify anybody. For some reason, Doremus' career is not as vivid in my memory.

BB is the classic good all American kid (young man) that any parents would want. He should be congratulated on the 5 years he has given the school, kudo's to him.
