I know this isn't a common projection, but I feel like this Siena team is about to turn a corner.
Several close losses against good teams (and admittedly one or two bad losses) have the fan base jaded.
The schedule finally turns favorable with some home games coupled with a full roster (hopefully).
I know the numbers 3-7 look terrible, but I really think this collection is better than that.
If they don't, I'll join the change is needed crowd.

Personally I tend to agree- I think we win today. I think the team will get noticeably better, but this isn’t a ‘special” team, on games we hit outside shots this team can be very good, but we dont have consistent shooters, we don’t have a knock down shooter, and that will hurt , especially against better teams

Should be a good game if we're gonna turn it around no better time then to start today. Tough stretch with Vt Hofstra and the WNY swing coming up.

Team was built up by the press and yes this board to be special, perhaps a second place. Unfortunately they have yet to live up to those accolades. The posters here, including I all hope they turn it around. They're all good kids who want to win. As many suggest and think the leadership of the program is lacking. Hopefully the kids on the court can overcome this anchor.

Having a strong out of conference record, winning the league and getting a decent seed in the dance is special.

If a repeat of that were to happen, Quis, JO and Brett will need to lead the way and Lavon will have to be the pre-career hyped Lavon every game. Otherwise, don't see it. Won't say it isn't possible, just don't think its probable.

I'm a Saints fan. I hope they turn it around. I also hope Jimmy is replaced. The entire season counts, especially when one hopes to make a run. Playing for just conference wins or 3 games in the MAAC tournament isn't good enough for me. That's a UA methodology which is why they have never won an NCAA T game.
Winning is much nicer to watch than losing and is critical at this point. I just hope the admins don't consider this season acceptable. Note that I would have a different opinion in season 1 or 2 of a coach's tenure.

On the Lanier team Lanier was yelling out instructions and Prosper waved him off and told him to sit down...Siena won that game and our blind admin gave Lanier an extension...

What?..the fact that none of them are stepping up to lead this team is a sign of either discord within or just a bunch of young men willing to go through the motions. And yes both stem from the top. Do you recall that last year the team had to vote to suspend a player? What the hell kind of bullshit was that. The difference between this team and the 2002 team is so easy to review but since you are too lazy I will spoon feed you. The 2002 team was led by a young coach with character who simply got in over his head too fast and decided to use psychological analysis with the players because the X and O'S, in game decisions and substitutions were baffling at times and players were often forced out of position. This team is led by a coach with a past performance record in this league that was average. That included multitude transfers in and out and a revolving door on coaching staff. Yes he made the Loyola program better than it was but I don't think lower than where they were was feasible. His sideline antics, personality and behaviors were known, as we're the results. The 2002 team liked each other and worked together. They still do 15 years later.

It fits your agenda of not liking the coach so run with it. Lets let the season play out before you call for a munity.
