Get used to going to Glens Falls, Jimmy said this week on radio, with MAAC killing two games next year scheduling is too tough, so he wants to play Vermont every year in Glens Falls, because Glens Falls is great place and its makes scheduling ‘easier”

I have the parking in the area close to the back entrance of the TU, due to my donation level. I should've gotten an email. I didn't get the original email telling us about the bus either. I will call the Siena fan relations office again. Thx for the info! Contact Kevin Borden at kborden@siena.edu - he may be able to help you out.

If in fact Vermont is willing to play its home game vs. Siena there, I can live with that.

I heard the same thing as knicksaint but I thought he meant we would be the 'home' team in GF every time? I live in Saratoga, but I get that the idea of GF really irritates the majority of the fan base who live farther south than I do.
I just can't help but feel like we are being manipulated back to the ARC...I feel like I am standing by watching one armed men trying to travel across a river in a canoe.

There are a lot of alumni in that area but season ticket holders are paying a good buck for seats at the TUC not the GFCC.

I had just written about getting the games back in the ARC and deleted it. After re reading it it sounded too far fetched, then boom, green blood brings it up. Maybe this is part of the 5 year plan.

If in fact Vermont is willing to play its home game vs. Siena there, I can live with that. Right. To be clear, he mentioned moving the game up there because the league's new scheduling rules would require neutral court games. The reasoning sounded like GF would qualify as such. If it's simply moving a home game up there each year, then it's a pretty terrible decision (no disrespect to GF).

Analogy: TUC vs. ARC....NBA dreams and egos vs. Solid undergraduate education while young men and women are having fun playing basketball supported by alumni and community. Bigger isn't always better or sustainable..... (don't ask me how I know this but it has to do with research work I did on a little blue pill)

Easy there big fella, whoa! Been saying that for the last year. Either compete or move down. NO doubt there is a faction at the school who would like to eliminate the BB program or move it down to obscure levels. A revenue producing, name recognition program being slowly methodically reduced to D2 or 3 level. GB not sure what you mean but for 2014 the mens BB graduation success rate (NCAA) was 83% while according to Siena the overall graduation rate was 79.7%. Perhaps we should stop accepting the alumni's children grandchildren who pay full boat but do not belong at the school. For not offering grad programs and the tuition being what it is, 32 k tuition and fees the rate seems low, unlike SUNY where they recognize they have a challenge graduating kids 5/6 years and not in 4. Just saying that the school is at a fork in the road and needs to decide it's direction. Time to bring the alumni in who know how to run a business and replace the amateurs.

I may have misunderstood, I took he wanted to play every year there as long as Vermont was willing to give up its home game

There is a faction of the faculty which think we should be D3 so we can plow money into the money producing majors like Philosophy and Religous studies

Made it alive, a snowy ride for sure. When the weather seemed all too crazy the snow parted before me and a clear lane appeared for the last 10 miles. whooo-hoo! Let's go saints!
