I'm still a big fan of Richard, Shivers is the only one that takes it to the hoop but I think Richard is well ahead of him at this point. Either way Patsos should stop with the cute stuff and just start his best 5 which certainly includes Nico. Have to agree start the best 5, utilize Smithen Richard and Friday as needed. Time to build some continuity. I wouldn't go deeper than 3. Our bench has not proven to be productive. Yeah, but they will be out there together during crunch time. I think the key is to find a way to maximize the overall production while you rest players. Wright and Clareth together is great but that means they'll both be tired at the same times and you always need an end of shot clock alpha in the game...to keep the scoring going. Clareth comes in with Friday and helps keep the scoring consistent while you're resting the starters 2 at a time. Remember, when he comes in Bisping, JO, and Long also start rotating out too. If they all rotate out at the same time you risk more scoring lulls as 2nd unit comes in. Clareth is a guy who can dominate the ball and get a shot off at will. That's good to have as you're resting starters. A lineup of say Richard, Smithen, Shivers, with Friday lacks veteran leadership and consistency. You can't have that out there for 10-15 mpg.

Don't get starting Shivers...but starters aren't a big deal just play your top 8/9 which should be Wright, Nico, Long, Bisping, JO, Richard, Smithen, Shivers, Friday. It's time for our seniors to step up and show their talent and experience going forward!

Big five should be playing 30+ minutes a game and you should never have a lineup out there without at least 3 of them until the end of a blowout. The talent difference between them and the bench is too immense to be putting a second team out there together.

I can come up with enough viable combos going just 8 deep that doesn't involve having any more than 1-2 starters out at any given time.

Time and again Patsos substitutions appear to be out of frustration with a particular player rather than any set substitution pattern.
Patsos imo has way too short of a leash with his bench players and it probably hurts his game plan (if there is one)in having the wrong combo of players on the court at times.

Syracuse transfer CHINOSO OBOKOH will not be available tonight for the BONNIES(sprained knee). Doesn't score much, but defends and rebounds. Has not seen a lot of minutes yet but coming off his best game yet against PEPPERDINE. SAINTS key to success tonight may be pounding the ball down low and letting WRIGHT drive to the basket against the BONNIES' inexperienced frontline. Rooting for the BONNIES tonight, but wishing the best for the SAINTS the rest of the year.

Mobley and Adams have been absolutely on fire to start the year. I have to hope that even if Siena still can't finally find its defense that at the very least these guys would be due for an off game. Especially given that they've had a week between games.... after having played 5 games in 11 days..
These 2 guys are like their only 3 point threats and their primary FT shooters.
Mobley was turnover prone last year at CCSU but he's taken care of the ball this year. Maybe he reverts.
They have talent inside but it's young and without Okoboh, there's not a lot of shotblocking.
Maybe JP can continue to have the Bonnies' number. After having played Cornell and UA, if we haven't learned to adjust to what 2 good guard scorers can do to us, I don't know what to say. Bonnies are a good team but perhaps a little overrated at this point. This is a very winnable game especially if the Saints D finally wakes up from its coma.

IIRC, he and JO played against one another in the High School state tournament.

Adams is the truth might be the best guard in the A10... This will be great match up for Mr. Wright. I wish I could see that matchup.

Any idea if there's a replay later tonight? I'm stuck going to a Christmas Carol at the Palace.
