I saw good size, solid floor game. Can shoot it, but he's not overly athletic. Great character kid that knows how to play, and win. I love his make-up, need to see him live to get a better read on him. Any idea if Patsos & co have looked at Kendrick Gray (I like his size and athleticism). He could develop into a Vann like type of player. He must have issues. I have followed him soemewhat for a couple of years and it seems like VA has brought in a bunch of kids better then him and his interest has gone down.

I’m willing to keep an open mind on Jordan- he looks a bit slow, but always hard to judge that on tape- he has good size and can shoot- two very good attributes. On other hand only a few low major offers, hopefully Jordan isn’t in mold of several other Jimmy Patsos recruits who came in with low major or no offers

folks, this kid is more athletic than either Jared Jordan or Sean Kennedy, two very talented PG's that were great in the MAAC for Marist............and he has bigger size than either and is more prolific HS shooter...................not saying he will end up as great as them, but he has the tools to succeed, so lets see how things develop!!!!!!!!!!

I'm staying cautiously optimistic about this signing.
- People always want the staff to lock guys up early - done.
- People always say we need to expand our recruiting footprint - done.
- Horn seems to be completely understanding of his own capabilities. Personally, I hate it when you read a HS kid's comments describing his game, and they say they can "do everything" without addressing any aspects of their game that requires work. Horn readily admits that his D needs work, but is passable. Admitting a flaw is the first step towards working on improving it. And what I've seen of his offensive capabilities, I like. Comfortable shooter, nice court vision, seems to attack the rim capably.
- While I completely get the whole "look at his other offers" camp and those folks being underwhelmed, I'm a little less critical of that given that he was out injured during the busy AAU recruiting season.
Welcome to the Siena fam, Joran Horn!

This isn't a Jimmy Paige or a Maurice White situation.
The kid has the skills to be a guard. He can create his own shot and make the right pass.
Whether he ends up a starter caliber player or not, you build winning teams with those types of players.
If we get Keller too, we're basically a 2 PG team without giving up the size as we'll have 4 guys capable of playing PG. Yet, 3 of them will be 6-3+. That's very, very good.
This is a guard oriented league. When you have an entire backcourt capable of running the point at times, that usually means good things.

I'm a little out of touch, but other than Bisbing, wasn't this team recruited by Patsos. If so, I think that's a pretty good job at this level. Would like to see him recruit more from the midwest, because they emphasize defense a bit more than a lot of the eastern city schools.

Welcome to the Siena fam, Joran Horn! Agree, especially the part with him critiquing his defense. Also like how his HS plays 4A (highest level in MN). Don't know how it compares to NY or an Indiana but good to see it's the state's highest level. Love the high BBall IQ. And while only thee others school made offers he at least had interest from higher mods too (Nradley, Denver, Drake, Northern Iowa and even Nebraska).
