The end of an Era is correct!!! Made not being at the games more enjoyable being able to listen to the General and Tom. I would venture to say Andy G and Kelly O' Donnell will take over the rains that is a guess. If not a Magee and Fenlon tag team would be enjoyable..

Wouldn't be surprised if Mike Demos took over the PBP. He is the SID now and primary contact for Men's Basketball.

My guess is that Mike has too many things to do nn game nights for the men to make it work, but if could work, does that make Hoopscribe the analyst?

I have followed Siena since 1950. We have always had good radio coverage. John Graney,Gerry Pucci,Doug Sherman, and the first I remember the great Ed Lange.

Just like to add one more "best wishes" to the General. So much enjoyed his and Tom's insights to the game and to Siena's team. Also, enjoyed their banter back and forth- genuine and you could tell they got along really well. Best wishes.

Thanks to Tom and Robert for their great calls of the games over the years.
I heard Vandenburg say that he does not know the status of the broadcasts on his station for the upcoming year. Certainly sounds like there is no contract in place.

Certainly sounds like there is no contract in place. There are a few Siena alums connected to the local radio scene so not having a radio staton to broadcast games is extremely unlikely . . .

I heard PV commenting on the change in broadcasters last week. Full week after it had been announce. For being the supposed managing director he sure doesn't keep up with what is going on. Question if the school reached out to the principal owners and notified them of the upcoming changes.

Go easy on PV, he has some serious management issues going on that take precedence over contracting to continue broadcasting our games. The pair of gerbils that "power" his after-dark transmitter are getting long in the tooth. The station's signal, that consistently falls off the cliff at Exit 10 on 87, has been more and more frequently sputtering and struggling just to make it to the Twin Bridges. He has to decide whether to send the pair to a cedar chip lined retirement habitat or risk their passing and a complete on-the-air failure during the broadcast of our game at SUKU. Finding replacement gerbils, with National Association of Broadcasters membership, is a time consuming challenge sharpened by the reality that replacement gerbils were not projected in the current year's budget.
