It looks there won't be any television for the UAlbany game at SEFCU this year, just streaming via ESPN3. Albany isn't televising any of their home games on TWC this year, all America East schools will be producing their own telecasts and sending them to ESPN3 for streaming.

So you have 5K plus fans already shut out of the game. Than you delete TV coverage for that 5K (I only consider true BB fans that will use ESPN) plus the remainder of folks that are just casual fans. Sounds like am economic disaster. Perhaps the game needs to be moved to the TUC. Let UA have the white jerseys. The UA AD can't be that dense.

UA has pisses off a bunch alumni with their parking policy and requiring a big donation in order to park fairly close to the gym

UA made a few changes that haven't gone over very well.
Parking being one of them, not only for basketball but for football as well. I get the football parking fees especially if you are going to tailgate. But the fee to park for basketball is a bit over the top especially for the far lot by the tennis courts.
I've considered buying season tickets for football but with the new required donations, no thanks!
Football chairback seats for single games went from $25 to $100 this season.
There's also an issue with stadium policy over the use of portable stadium chairbacks being rented/sold. Apparently UA has been selling portable chairbacks the kind you use on bleacher seats in the football stadium for a few years. This year they banned the use of the portable chair backs. Coincidentally UA now rents out the same chairbacks at each game.

Fortunately I have ESPN3 via AppleTV which makes it as good as cable. That said, I wasn't too ticked about the game being held at SEFCU...BUT, I would have assumed that given the tiny gym size, the game would be televised since half to 2/3 of the audience was being shut out.
I guess Will Brown realized that the Siena team he finally got to come to his gym was loaded and figured the fewer people to watch the beat-down the better.

Smart TVs Roku's Apple TV who doesn't have one these devices today,, hell outside of sports I hardly watch network or cable and stream just about everything I watch. So having the games availabile on WatchESPN is probably considered TV for most people today. That being said I bought a few season tix at UA for myself and family to catch the game live.

ESPN3 makes the game available on-demand. I was an initial critic who has been converted to a fan.

Having the game available via ESPN3 is OK for anyone under 50 years old but judging by the in-game crowds for both teams, that's maybe 50% of fans. My Grandmother couldn't figure out a VCR let alone configuring a 3rd party device on her home network, downloading the app, then logging in using your cable provider information.

All right, any Luddites on the board can rejoice: I, Saintmisbehavin, will come set up your ESPN3 account for you at cost of any materials needed, plus at least one vintage Siena bobblehead from your collection (mint condition only).
Additional pro tip: If you have the TWC Sports+ package (I think it's $10 a month, includes Red Zone, Big Ten Network, BeIn SPorts and like 15 other random channels), they will actually show some ESPN3 content in some of the high-300 channels. I wouldn't be surprised if they threw this game on here for regional purposes.

Sorry, over 50 here and yet still capable of logging into ESPN on my computer and clicking on the watch ESPN tab, picking the 3 and finding the game. Even at my advanced age.
