we also play at UNC Asheville and home game with Arkansas Pine bluff. Pine bluff has a former City Rock from Buffalo Kansas would be good of course. UNC Asheville should be a decent opponent ranked 138 this year per Kenpom and 1 senior of note.. Arkansas Pine Bluff is ranked 345 out of 351 this year...with seniors....so yuck. GW has a lot of seniors...they could be due for a fall next year. The schedule still won't have much pizzazz.

For RPI purposes we would be way better off playing RPI than Arkansas Pine Bluff.

Kansas is a very good RPI game even if you take a beating. GW should be top 75 and winnable on the road. UNC-Ashville and Florida Gulf Coast are ok games but not great. The Arkansas Pine Bluff game is not good at all even at home.
I would have much rather played Kansas in a straight money game and did a home and home with GW.
If the schedule is indeed set we'll have:
Home: Bucknell, Cornell, Vermont, Arkansas PB
Away: Kansas, GW, St Bona, Hofstra, UAlbany, FGC, UNC Ashville
The schedule is OK for next year but considering the team we should have I'd like to see it a litter stronger for both an at-large chance and seeding purposes.
Average KenPom rating is 146 currently but 126 if you take out Arkansas PB.
Oh well just win the games!

I absolutely loathe the setup for these tournaments now. Complete garbage.

GW loses 4 of its top 7 guys...and 2nd, 3rd, and 5th leading scorers.
Calling GW a top 75 team might be putting the cart a bit before the horse unless you think 5-3 Darnell Rogers is exactly like his father as a frosh.

I absolutely loathe the setup for these tournaments now. Complete garbage. Better get used to it. Everything I have heard is that we will play in another one the following year. There will be a total of five teams, three of which will play road games at the "high major" other two teams. The high major teams will then play each other at a designated site such as Barclay Center , MSG, etc., while the other three will play a round robin. Siena will host Albany and go on the road for the other game. Supposedly we will have 15 home games vs. 14, but I'll believe it when I see it. It's too bad we will not have even a strong non-power 5 conference opponent on next year's home schedule when the current juniors are seniors. If we do have a 15th home game in 2017-18, that home schedule could look pretty good, assuming we can get a quality opponent to come here first, as we should have Bona, Hofstra and FGCU in addition to Albany. Of course, if we went somewhere other than FGCU next year, we could have perhaps assured that. It has to be easier to get a quality home sand home when you go to the other place first.

We are now scheduling SWAC teams on the home non conference slate? Unacceptable. Ticket prices better be declining.

Looking at it from another perspective, we are becoming more and more like a high major, scheduling "cupcakes" at home. Siena is on the way to becoming the next Syracuse. ;-)

Darg and Patsos cant bring in a steady diet of Loyola, Cornell's, Ark pine bluff? I mean what is a AE team the high light of our home schedule next year? Hey Darg how about the fans ( you know the people that pay the bills) once in awhile
