I agree we need to play a lot better if we want to be a serious MAAC championship contender. The press wasn't effective yesterday - Loyola knew how to attack it. I find it odd that we didn't press Bucknell much at all but pressed Loyola (Hounds were more athletic than the Bison were).
The turnovers are becoming a major concern - we're averaging 16 a game through the first six games. Hard to continue to win when you are giving up the ball that much. Every game we've had more TO's than assists (75/96 for the season). The good news is we have been good enough to overcome it which shows our potential and it is still very early in the season. The bad news is it will almost certainly bit us in the @$$ eventually if it is not corrected.

Beginning of the RPI free fall. It's hard to stay in the top when your playing teams with rpi' sin the high 200, low 300 arena.

Beginning of the RPI free fall again, it is not going to "free fall" if they keep winning. What do you think it will be if they finish 29-2-- 300? Just look at the rpiforecast site-- no need for the debate really.

We'll be lucky to finish 150 Only if you plan on a 17-14 type of season which obviously I think/expect/hope for much better. www.rpiforecast.com/teams/Siena.html28-3 19.0 0.01% 27-4 29.8 0.04% 26-5 32.5 0.16% 25-6 38.4 0.52% 24-7 48.2 1.92% 23-8 58.6 4.10% 22-9 70.8 7.88% 21-10 84.0 12.67% 20-11 99.1 15.42% 19-12 114.4 16.61% 18-13 131.2 14.96% 17-14 148.4 11.79% 16-15 165.9 7.18% 15-16 184.4 3.94% 14-17 201.7 1.73% 13-18 218.2 0.84% 12-19 235.5 0.16% 11-20 254.5 0.04% 10-21 252.5 0.02%

Well, I'm hoping for 20 wins against this schedule, but being taken to OT twice in 4 wins isn't reassuring. 17- 20 wins right in there someplace. We got a few good teams to beat to get there too.

We'll be lucky to finish 150 If we lose 10 games I agree but if we only lose 2 or 4 then I'm with Gorvy and rpi doens't fall off to 150 or worse mark.

When I first looked at the schedule, I saw Loyola as a clear definition of a " trap game " ! And in the last 5 years or so..we would have lost this game! But, this team plays with a lot emotion and you can see leadership on the floor! LET'S GO SAINTS!!

It was good they pulled out the win BUT they aren't going to beat the better teams allowing 65percent from the field and 55percent from 3 like they did at the half yesterday- Coach P was doing the PC thing and saying Loyola a great team etc. but the stats don't back up they are a great team..

IF teams shoot like that all year, we'll finish last in the MAAC. So would any other team.

Exactly-they hit some contested ones but a lot had to do with poor D . Even if it was poor d our best players stayed out of foul trouble and the game was won at the line for a change.
