Wow this team commits a LOT of TOs. And clearly they need to shoot the 3 credibly to open up their inside strength. I think they only had 4 or so 3pt attempts in the first half so LOY was just packing the defense low. Once Wright made them respect the downtown shot, they got a lot more chances inside. Wright had one 3 from the TU logo - i was moaning over the choice when it swished!
Bisping's baseline three in OT was the game.
Ogenyemi carried us thru the 1st half, Bisping and esp. Wright in the 2nd half. If they are all on the same page and can contain the TOs they will be very tough to beat.
What was up with the Technical on Jimmy? I missed whatever cause it ...

I remember KK saying all Wormley needed to do was play defense and not do anything stupid. He's got it covered. And then some. All I want out of him is to be Colin Nickerson...and I've said so for like 6 months. He more than did that tonight. Nickerson was a 5 ppg game guy who got like 4 boards, 2 assists, and 2 steals every game to go with it. He wasn't a scorer but he was a stat stuffer. That's what I want out of Wormley. He was that guy tonight. And I couldn't be happier.

I've been saying it all along about Wormley and have been defending him from the get go. It's you who was running his mouth. So stick it! It's you my friend that doesn't get it ....The game is played on the floor not on paper. Lighten up dude. The kid just raised his ppg average to a whopping 2.8 points per game. And it was against a team we should have beaten by 20. I hope it continues. And I hope he and LL score 70 a night if it means we win. I'm not out here for "I told you so's". Ok ..... Will do All I'm sayin' is give the kid credit he's been playing well, he's a positive steady player and solid ball handler and defender What Kenny brings isn't always evident on a stat sheet. Sometime a player doesn't need to score or assist to be valuable while he's on the floor. I'll leave it at that.... Good win!

Yeah, he's doin' stuff. Looking better. He's been fine all season, it's not all about stats. He's been doing everything that has been expected of him and today his scoring was a bonus. He's a steady player, wish I could say the same for Oliver, his turnover down the stretch was huge, boneheaded pass into the paint for a senior. Lets no get too crazy w the comments... While, Ill admit it was a bad pass, Oliver has proven to be "a steady player".

No doubt always great to win when you don't play your best. The team chemistry is worlds better and so is the coaching. That said didn't think Jimmy had his best game plan today but was better in the second half with adjustments. We still have a lot to clean up but winning is a great thing while getting better and better. No excuse for a poor game plan against this team, given his familiarity with them. They finally started getting a hand in Hubbard's face ... that was a good adjustment. For a while that kid could not miss.

Streaky, unfortunately for Oliver he needs to be wide open, he can't create or get to the hoop. He's a limited player skill wise. I just think Kenny is more dynamic. Will Oliver have his moments, sure but they are usually too few and far between.

Probably, because I jokingly got him dubbed "god" on the MAAC board 4 years ago. We've moved on.

KK's a big boy and I don't mind him coming back at me. After its all said and done everyone just wants a W!

For the record, I don't mind Wormley starting as long as he plays the Nickerson role effectively and Clareth still gets 25+. I have a major problem with Clareth sitting on the bench for anything over 15 mins a game.
I had suggested we might have to try to get LaRose involved with Oliver running the "token PG role" if Wormley continued to put 0's up across the board in the boxscore. The thought was we could add another shooter to a team that was struggling from three.
Thus, is where this conversation originates.
We can't have a guy playing 12-15 mins a game who gets almost no boards, no assists, no pts, no steals, and no blocks. He doesn't have to score all the time but he has to do something.

espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/boxscore?gameId=400841139Papi must have wood- Siena shot 10/18 from downtown - 22/27 from the FT line. JO 15,9 and 3 blocks Marquis 21, 6, 3 and the block which help send the game into OT. Nico with 14 and Worm with 11 - 25 from the young guys. Brett with 15 and 8 - all points in the second half including that HUGE three in OT. Without the 3 point shooting this is a crippling loss. It's a game changer.
