IndianSaint- your words captured what a truly special person Big Dave was. I didn't know him real well but through my limited interactions with him I could tell that he was a diehard Siena fan who handled both victory and defeat with grace. I never heard him criticize a player or coach after a tough loss. I'm sure there were times that he was frustrated with the program but you would never know by his demeanor. He cheered hard and loved to see his team succeed but even in defeat his commitment to the program never wavered. RIP Big Dave- I hope you now have the best seat in the house- you deserve it.

Skip, As we all do Dave, as my loyal friend and traveling buddy, had his moments of frustration. One in particular at a game at LaSalle in Philly years ago he got so upset at a stupid Siena turnover he slammed his clipboard to the floor and broke it in half.

The General informed me that they're going to mention/honor Dave during tonight's TV coverage. Similar to what they did on radio during the RI (Radford) game.

Didn't know the gentleman, but his accolades from the posters here say it all. God Bless him.

Very nice tribute to Dave at the beginning of last night's TW broadcast. Photo of Dave with one of our teams that he loved and followed so closely. Can't recall which team - had to miss last night's game to be at my granddaughter's Christmas Concert in Lake George so I watched it late. General and Tommy were, naturally, quite complimentary of Dave and his travels with the Saints - they hightlighted the trip to Northern Iowa where Dave was the ONLY Siena fan in the joint. When I saw the picture of Dave I knew we had a little more "help" defense for the game as Dave watched from on high. I was then rewarded with what was likely our best overall game this year. Thanks Dave!

Thanks Dave! Had to have been the 2013-2014 CBI team as it had Cruz and the current junior crop.
