A few observations from having watched 45 minutes or so of pick-up today, in no particular order. Remember, the comments are based on an admittedly limited sample:
1. Quis' shot looks significantly improved. Made multiple 3's. 2. Nico is a legitimate 6'5 and has a college-ready body. 3. When Kinnon gets on the floor, opponents who leave him open at the 3 point line will do so at their own risk. 4. JO looks to have continued to develop his game. Hope the appeal is successful! 5. Imoh is moving well. Must have worked really hard in his rehab. 6. Don't be surprised to see us involved with JUCO's in 16-17. If Dartmouth could take them, Siena will be able to as well. 7. Rolly appears to be ready for an expanded role with the graduation of Rob and Evan. 8. Evan F. could be a force inside.
Really looking forward to the season!

From everything we're reading and hearing, it sounds like Jimmy is going to have a hard time picking his rotation. Between increased numbers, increased player development and talented new players, I hope he has a hell of a hard time. Even if he is able to get his rotation down to 8-9 players, there are still going to be games or situations where he has to expand it. With his outside shooting, I can see LaRose as a situational player. Maybe not getting a lot of minutes but still being important in certain games.

How did they look?

I thought Kenny looked good. He was mostly playing against Marquis, a tough match-up for anyone especially with Quis' much improved shooting. Lavon was not a big factor in what I saw. He did not try to assert himself.

He did not try to assert himself. I would absolutely love for Wright to just all of sudden be able to shoot 3's but I'm a little hesitant to believe it until it shows itself in games consistently.

He did not try to assert himself. We need Lavon to have a big bounce back year. If he can improve on his right hand he will be tough to deal with in the MAAC. He played well to end last season. Our juniors ('Quis, Lavon, Brett and JO if he can play) will determine what kind of season we have. We have two really solid role players as seniors (two potential solid sophomores) and a talented freshmen class but this is obviously a junior laden team.

He looks like he's playing exactly the same

You guys have some really nice talent coming out of the DMV this year.
Note 2 above is dead accurate. Also, Nico can take over a game offensively, as well as be a shut-down defender on an opposing 2 or 3. Excellent athleticism and up's. Can get to the hoop and score strongly, or with a crafty hanging move. He has a true jump shot with range for 3. He gets instinctive rebounds. Count the number of dunks he blocks this year!
The Alpha Fish has range and ability with either hand. In my book he is already a stretch 4 with 3-point range and athleticism.
Wormley is strong with the ball virtually anywhere on the court. He finds gaps to get it to the hoop and has the ability to finish.
Your schedule looks great! Duke and Wisconsin. Wow.

I love what you're saying, that's a lot of props for our freshmen. May I ask your background or experience with our young men?

If the freshman can play right away the season will be fun and top 3 finish possible.
