Luke may be gone from the roster but at least we still have Poole & Hymes. We should be so lucky!

I just think it's funny or odd that only certain roster changes have occurred so far (in the men's side). The women's roster has already been updated for 2015-16 weeks ago.
Time to update the men's roster.

John went public with Mitchs firing, but never told us why he was fired? That's what you want them to do with Luke right? Tell us why he was fired? A 2nd assistant leaving isn't really that newsworthy. Maybe they were afraid to announce it so the "loyal fans" wouldn't think he was a scapegoat? No, actually I wanted some official confirmation that he was actually gone AND AN OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT THAT THE NEW SAVIOUR WAS ON BOARD. Sorry to burst your pro-Patsos anti-everyone else bubble but that was all I was looking for. I know he was the scapegoat since your man said changes were needed and that was the only change. Hard to fathom that was it when you consider it's Jimmy's program and the No. 2 isn't really that big a deal, in your words. So with that view amplified by the generally voiced position that now JIMMY GETS IT and JIMMY IS MAKING CHANGES TO FIX IT, all we did was remove an inconsequential (again your view) assistant - what changes do you and nullS see as being effective going forward? No major injuries, and no more punks. ...and you're right, Jimmy should have fired himself after last year. lmao One invite to practice and you'd stop acting like somebody pissed on your popcorn. And if recall YOU were PRO-Mitch for at least 2 1/2 years?? Not sure what merited that (except the open practices) but you quit on this guy the minute shit went bad.

Been 2 years-- Jimmy has done a lot that I'm not happy with have to give him at least one more year- and truth is he probably has minimum two more years- with 3 years left on contract he could give Darg the finger before every game and still come back next year

So he's under contract for 4 more years. You guys are stuck with him for at least 2 more years, and even then, do they eat $700K in 2017? I like the attitude of this years group. Athleticism has been greatly improved. He really recruited kids that hate to lose. I think the defense will be much better with Imoh and Brett back upfront. Nico, Wormley relaly bring a dimension we didn't have last year. The kid from Richmond really pushes Marquis. He'll get better from it, as opposed to facing Evans soft pressure everyday the last two years in practice.

Should have been clearer –Jimmy would have 3 years left at end of this year So I agree at least two years left. And that is the rub going into 3rd year we are hoping for a bunch of freshmen to perform (never a good thing) His recruiting has not been that good at Siena ( and historically isn’t that good)
While I agree defense could be better, where are the points coming from? Sorry going into year 3 I see about a 500 team – unless the freshmen are very-very good – reason why he is so-so Jimmy, he doesn’t work very hard in off season , mediocre recruiting – he needs to “up” his game at Siena and unfortunately so far at Siena I don’t see it – this is his last year to prove ( to me at least) he gets it or I write him off. No excuses this year

And if recall YOU were PRO-Mitch for at least 2 1/2 years?? Not sure what merited that (except the open practices) but you quit on this guy the minute shit went bad. LMAO when I read you have to rely on a bogus nullS invented reason for my dissatisfaction with our current HC! I won't give it any more oxygen by trying to correct that lame BS view. Where did I say Jimmy should have fired himself? You should try your hand at writing fiction - you have a knack for it. So here are the "changes" that will put us back on top of the MAAC: Imoh's defense returning from injury - not there yet, and, if you recall he was projected to log 5 mpg BEFORE his injury, Brett's return from injury - not at 100% yet, a strong leader but he was likely doing that last year Four freshmen - only one projected possibly good enough to start and one questioned by many as being a D1 level player Cam's annointment as a scholarshipped D1 player - will he get court time One strong transfer that should help on the practice floor A new very young DOBO which, if history is an indicator, will be tasked with tracking academics, that didn't work before A new young assistant, likely in the #3 seat (doubt he'll jump over Lucious in Jimmy's pecking order) - will his youth stand up to Patsos' "style"? Wright, Oliver, Paige, WB - solid group Long - will the fouling issues diminish (in all fairness won't be evident until after our first two games - Coach K and Bo both know how to whine/cry/bitch and get foul calls - Long's reputation will not serve him well in those houses, IMO) One can ONLY hope that the coaching style/system actually changes but we will have to wait and see. And lastly, Mitch came in as an unproven head coach who matured under some really good coaches - the Fairfield history was ancient history in my mind's eye. Jimmy came in as a very, very familiar head coach and I never "liked" his style and was happy with him being at Loyola as it appeared they would never be a consistent MAAC topdog. Year one, gave him the benefit of the doubt factoring in all of Siena's resources, etc. Yes, I enjoyed the unexpected CIT run and championship - I guess we were "lucky" to keep him given the non-existent run at him following our "national championship"! Came into year two believing we would start off even stronger than where we left year one - you know the rest of the story.

here's the thing MP-- while I don't disagree with much of assessment of Siena under Jimmy- he is worlds better than PW ever was and you supported him for 2 and half years-- sort of kills your credibility. Nobody wants to hear you whine nonstop for at minimum 2 more years-- and 500 coaches are hard to get rid of Jimmy quite possibly could end up at Siena for years to come- if Jimmy bothers you that much you should give up your seats-- and stop posting on this board. This cant be good for your health

The average male East African Ostrich weighs about 254 lbs and can run at speeds of up to 43 miles per hour.

And you'll never be satisfied until Fran throws you another treat while you sit on your hind legs No coach will ever be good enough. Proven by your statement. "I gave him the benefit of the doubt his first year!" lol He OVERachieved like crazy with the mess Mitch left him. If you don't think the rash of injurties (everyone forgets Poole avoided surgery and was like 75% all year too) and the Cole mistake (which was squared up with the coaching change), factored in hevily to our shitty year, you're simply delusional.

So KK, it has to be the Ostrich or the African Shallow with a wing velocity of 24 mph for the next ship offered.
