So is everyone excited to pay the same amount for season tickets in two years when there is no Albany Cup game included?

Really hard to complain here, Siena has not really fared well against UA recently. If Siena could beat them this would have been a non discussion. I for one have no problem going to SEFCU to play, I also like the tournament idea in year 3.
Either way it is hard to complain when Siena has been awful the past 5 years and has not beat UA the last 3.
Time to step up and win Siena or we have nothing to complain about.

Good thing is, we should be the favorite when we play there in '16. It would be oh so sweet to beat them at their place the first time we ever step foot in that "gym."

Beat them with 70% of the crowd being Siena fans. I think that is what is most funny about this deal, the casual fans that show up to the Albany Cup at the TUC are generally the Albany fans. With seating restricted it will be the hardcore fans that show up which are predominately Siena fans. All this deal does for Albany is sell a lot of season tickets to Siena fans who will barely go to any games and leave a lot of empty seats for other games.

I'm told far more likely next contract will start at SEFCU...meaning TUC-SEFCU-TUC (current contract)-SEFCU.... There is a reason this is a three year contract. 2 for 2 was a lot harder by Siena to sell then a 2-1...the devil is in the details though. Thanks for info . . . nice to know next contact is already written. LOL

As the TU reported, Siena "caved" during negotiations! I agree with other posters that our previous head coaches would not have agreed to the 9 mile (one way) road trip. However, it is not inconsistent with our current HC's view on who should play where. We have a 4 who successfully negotiated to play primarily at the 3, so what's wrong with having more than half our fan base out of "position" as well? After all, it's all about the MAAC, not the OOC. Hope there is no truth to the rumor that when UA's season ticket sales close for the 2016-2017 season that the remaining open seating, with the exception of the 25 tickets normally comped to visiting AE teams, will be tarped for the Siena game! This whole fiasco is a bad joke - on us. Another shot at Jimmy. Why don't you send an email to your buddie D'Argenio. He is Jimmy's boss and could have nixed the whole deal!

Casual or not ... It's the fans and downtown Albany businesses that lose ... Fans came early to eat/drink with many staying downtown after ... Can't see that happening up on Western Avenue ... Even if it did, although unlikely, attendace is cut in half or more

What they can't do is prevent Siena fans from scooping up the season tickets.

Even Maggie's will be full and they make some of the worst food in the entire country.

Sorry to say Misspractice has been banned from Siena board- I have gotten way to many complaints on his attitude, he was warned several times and just couldn't look past fact Jimmy wouldn't let him in practice. Time for MP to move on, the Siena board is not the place for him and his attitude. I' ll consider lifting his ban when next season starts

While Jimmy hasn't given us the warm fuzzies yet I'm not ready to write him off. Year three is a big year Jimmy knows that. To constantly read the potshots made the board hard to read.

MTS - after your tweet yesterday the AD is having your number blocked for the call in show. Look for a lot of dead air on future shows

What about the other 9500 who would rather be downtown on So Pearl street
