Thought I read home and home starts in their little gym next year. I would rather not play if it comes to that

Their little gym holds 5,000 fans at an on campus facility.

We've played two Bracket Buster games (2006 and 2012) at their Mack Sports and Exhibiion Center which was opened in 2000. It is a beautiful facility that is much larger and nicer than many MAAC little gyms. We lost both games and, as many will recall, both were lost with Mitch at the controls, albeit only for half a game in 2006 after the McCaffery's were unceremoniously ejected at the end of halftime.

PPC are you talking about Albany's little gym or Hofstra's? Albany. Playing Hofstra is a good pickup. But why use a tiny gym in Albany when we have one in Albany that can fit every one that wants to cone

Whoever wins the cup gets the home game, pretty simple. Playing at a packed house with half your fans there is a pretty good deal.

It's dumb to play in a little gym rather than an arena that can hold everyone

All of this sounds fine but the same people making that argument are the ones who complain that we can't get home and home contracts with BCS schools. Should we only play games wherever the arena is largest? Wherever would attract the most fans? Should Duke or Syracuse ever have to play OOC road games? I would say your whole premise is flawed on this. If we can't play with my ball then I am not playing. Sounds childish and hypocritical to me.

Sent from my SM-G900P using proboards I'm missing your point here. How do you equate the situation being argued about SEFCU vs. TU with schools like Duke or Syracuse ? There is no notion being suggested that Siena schedules home games due to superiority in their program like is the case of high major programs. Syracuse has clout because of who they are not because of the seating capacity of the Carrier Dome. Where is the relevance?

My point is just that the bigger program can't always get the home court. And since we really are not a BIG program really that is better for us in the Long run.
