Good article. Will be interesting to watch as they sort out where the scoring is going to come from. Interesting that this is the first time I've seen Patsos say Wormley will play a lot and contend for a starting job. Could be some coach-speak...It is Jimmy after all. I don't doubt Wormley plays a good amount though. Says Wormley can play the 1 and 2. He mentions Clareth can play the 2 or 3... And reiterated that he would be surprised if he didn't start. Compared Fischer to Bisping in having more to their game than meets the eye

My question is if all 3 freshman play heavy minutes and maybe start who sits?? Does Oliver mins go up or down? Will Paige see time? How long is the experiment with Lavon Long trying play the 3? Is there mins for bidsping, Silas, WB, Fischer, Long at the 4/5??? Any insight from the board would be great.

Just like the last 2 years, he somehow has 8 starters. I don't know coming off a 20 loss season no starting jobs should be guaranteed ..having said that Nico almost has to screw up not to start. And while I doubt Wormley starts he said Wormley will play and contend for starting spot. With JO gone looks like Evan Fisher has good chance to make playing group also

No definitive answers till the fall but here is my shot at them Nico replaces Poole in starting line up Oliver will play about the same For Paige to see time it will be at the 3 ( you wont see him playing the 4 this year) Its no experiment for Jimmy with Lavon at the 3- Lavon will play the 3 this year, Jimmy will sink or swim with Lavon at 3 - he will be backed up by Paige- Oliver and Nico ( in no particular order SIlas and Bisping will start- Silas has never been able to stay on floor more than 16 min a game without fouling out , Bisping will get 30 min a game, Long will play very little 4 so plenty of time for WB and Fisher

One of the keys to our success this year will be reining in the fouls. It can set the tone of the whole game - like a black cloud early in the game because it gets everybody thinking about who will sit, foul out and be able to finish the game. I put it on Jimmy to change this.

There will be a top 8 that makes up the playing rotation. Time will be earned in practice. Wormly is better than Wright was as an incoming freshmen. He gives us a different look at the point and is solid at the 2...remember Wright was expected to sit behind RJ at Loyola.... Then ended up on the All Rookie team with immediate mins at Siena instead. Wormley will challenge Wright at the point and that will help them both.

Last year was very tough hopefully it was a one year aberration with a perfect storm of injuries/defections/bad chemistry etc leading to a bad year. Jimmy had a very good first year and a bad year two. I always thought when he was hired year 3 would be the year we'd seriously contend for the MAAC championship. But when we finished year one so well with the CBI title I expected that it would happen last year which it obviously did not.
If Wormley pushes Wright I think that is a good thing (provided it is Kenny being good and not 'Quis regressing). I expect the team especially the returning veterans to have a bad taste in their mouths after last year. After taking too many bows off the CBI title (which isn't the goal away the MAAC championship/NCAA tournament is) I expect our guys to work harder and get better in the off-season.
As of right now I think the starters will be Wright, Nico, Long, Bisping, Silas - first off the bench Oliver, Wormley, Paige, Brandwijk (unless Fisher beats him out)
We have the potential to be very good and contend for the MAAC title but we also could be sub .500 again if we don't improve and the young guys aren't ready to go. I am optimistic though that we will at least be in the top 4 next year potentially better if certain question marks are answered.

And honestly in this guys system does it matter if you start, there's usually a substitution in the first 30 seconds anyway. I'm not getting my hopes up at all, I'm just going to wait and see. I've been excited about new recruits and new seasons before only to have my hopes dashed, this year, no expectations and every win will be icing on the cake. Here's to next season.

I'm not saying it's not a legitimate question, I just don't trust your immaturity when it comes to dealing with PPC. But it's not my call, I just don't trust your motives and we have PPC and Lavon for another 2 years. We don't need any more problems. The more you bait like this it just seems like you are not a friend to the program. In fact, it demonstrates the opposite.
