I just watched the entire video again, and counted 16 blocks. You said there was 3. Now I see why I can't help you So I exaggerated for emphasis. You'll see a lot of blocks in Bisping's highlight reel too. It doesn't mean he's a great D1 shotblocker. I'd rather have the more sure thing than just settle for the maybe. so now for bonus point can you tell me how many 3 's Jack made in highlight video.. C'mon with a name like Jack Lieb-- many good nicknames--

That's ok KK, I'd be happy with either Porter or Lieb. Porter would have to sit a year but already has A10 experience. Lieb could play right away and be ready for his So jump.

Go where you're wanted. Siena should recruit kids that show mutual interest.

But we're way behind the big boys for him. Does Jimmy (or does Siena) have any connections in MO? At 6-9, I was always hoping MW could have been a SF.

I don't mean this as a knock. He shoots FTs well and looks like he has some skill. I'm just not sure it's what this team needs with Fisher, Bisping, and WB already on board. Imoh is gone next year, Bisping could be also ( and at best 1 more year) at our level it takes a few years to develop big men- everyone was down on JO as freshmen and we saw what he did as Soph-- in history of MAAC only a handful of guys 6'8" or taller were impact big men as freshmen - for bigs at MAAC level you have to plan out a few years in advance. Guards and wings impact players can be signed-and again I told you guys last week a wing would not be signed who knows... maybe bisping has already said next year would be his last. and you are right... win or lose... we will muddle through with what we have at wing. Seems it isnt really all that of an important slot to this staff. Whoever is on the floor at wing will do just fine. it really doesnt matter.

You would be first one to shoot arrows at staff When Imoh graduates and if Bisping leaves( and even if he doesn't) and Siena didnt have a big or enough bigs. The roster was left in shambles by PW it would have been nice if JP could have fixed immediately ( but he didn't) I think it was you that said it would take 4 or 5 years to wash stink away Bottom line in all this-- still no excuses for JP anything less than top 4 finish and many people will be calling for his head -- I'm quite sure JP knows what he is up against.

Maybe you could talk his mom into getting him to play for Siena, just kidding before I'm accused of some sort of violation. I saw by all the BCS college offers he had & figured we wouldn't have a chance unless Jimmy had connections in MO. It's a small basketball world in that you know him & played ball with his Mom.

Tell me: how many shots has Lieb blocked in H.S...do you even know? Before your judge Porter the better option, consider that he's 6'10, 200. A bean pole. At 6'9. 230, Lieb sounds like he'd be a lot more intimidating inside to me. Lastly, Porter has to sit next season. What good is he if Bisping and/or Silas go down again? I think the team needs someone playable next season if they are going to pursue a 5. Here's GMU blogger Ryan Kish's take on Porter (and he's seen a lot more of him than any of us): On a team in desperate need of guards it is no surprise to me that one of the forwards didn’t see themselves fitting in Dave Paulsen’s scheme. Porter played with a lot of energy but was often a liability on the offensive end. He’s a solid rim protector but barely weighs 200 pounds and isn’t the type who can fight for rebounds in the low blocks. He does possess a lot of athletic ability though and in the right situation he can be a solid contributor. - See more at: gmuhoops.co/2015/04/22/trey-porter-is-transferring/#sthash.EOptBlTu.dpufThat's just what Siena needs, a 5 who doesn't rebound. So you wanted to get rid of JO then? The kid was a FRESHMAN. Think about what you thought of JO's frosh year or RyRo's frosh year. No, I didn't want to get rid of JO. But he's gone nevertheless. So why secure another man with his same deficiencies like Porter? Sure Porter could improve - he could also potentially hit the gym so he builds an actual college ready body. But neither of these are givens. So what makes you so certain he's better than Lieb? In my view, both would need work - but one at least can rebound and hold his own in the paint right away.
