I sort of wish we had another easy year coming up. The OOC schedule next year looks quite a bit better to me than this year. I know why we struggled this year but I'll be shocked if we have a winning record starting league play next year regardless of how the frosh are. Maybe they'll hit the ground running but I think we are not going to be much better record-wise. I do think that by year-end we'll be much improved over this year though so that keeps me generally optimistic.

It's going to take time! Time for freshmen to grow! And time for the team to come together as a cohesive unit!!

But not necessarily in 'W's, esp against our early schedule, which is what I think he meant.

Not sure where this fits, but just posted this on MAAC board. This player seems destined for Siena. Seemed to go too high signing with George Mason. In that 2 star area. Tall athletic guy from Patsos recruiting area. verbalcommits.com/players/trey-porter

I just don't see a guy who went for 3.5 ppg, 2.5 rpg with not a great shooting percentage going up to a program like Miami or Virginia. Seems like at least an obvious target for Patsos. If I am not mistaken, that is part of the area he basically loves to recruit.

I didn't say horrible. However his numbers do not project a move up in conference.

That was the list of schools that recruited him prior to signing with GM. I don't know much about this kid or If we would even be interested. I think we reallly need a long athletic wing but who knows with Patsos anything is possible.
