And the beat goes on...............and Javion is not the one I am most worried about. Who is "the one you are most worried about" MP? Don't tease us and leave us hanging like that! Tough break....definitely hurts. Don't know the reason but doesn't look good for JP. Of course nobody knows the full story yet. Just my speculation but I believe JO was close to Lucious Jordan. Good chance Lucious (and Luke) will be gone soon. Wish JO the best - at least it was done now and not in June (i.e. Kojo Mensah) Two 'ships opening - JP needs to get recruiting. Only sliver lining is we are deep up front. Guard play will determine Siena (and Jimmy's) fate next year. Like Siena1971 said Maryland had a bunch of guys move on and got better. Not that we are Maryland but lets face it you go 11-20 and maybe SOME movement isn't bad. I told you so and you said it couldn't happen. Now Cams ship is all but guaranteed. Go Saints!

For sure. Patsos still needs to find another impact wing. Evan F may get more time but he ain't the answer. This is a huge loss for Patsos. Fisher has never played a game. How do we know that he is or isn't the answer?

Seriously hes a frosh. I don't expect much he wasnt going to see that much time now he's JOs replacement how did WB do?

JO committed to Mitch though, not Jimmy (no matter what happened after Jimmy was hired) JO seems like a quiet kid that couldn't handle JP's "coaching style." Any kid that commits to Jimmy can't use that as an excuse to leave. They knew what they were getting when they signed up. Wouldn't surprise me to see him end up at Fordham if being in NYC with his father is that important to him.

If Bisping and Silas are healthy, we should be fine inside. We're talking about a league where Kevin Bleeker might be one of the best returning bigs.

We should still have enough up front but we do lose offense with JO. But Brett's return should pick that offensive slack up. It is a must now to sign someone (guard/wing 2/3). I would hold the other spot for a transfer at mid-season.

I think the real fear here is people just don't respect Silas as a player because he sets some bad screens and shuffles his feet here and there on offense. I think a lot of people just don't believe in the numbers. There are 2 sides to the game. It's not all about offense. He is the best returning defensive big in the league. JO would have been 2nd...so it's a long fall from there. If he's healthy, I think the Imohticon is gonna come up all this year.

The other issue with losing JO is that all the work and effort that went into making him a better player is now lost to the Saints, and WB and others who sat behind JO could have developed much more this past season. This loss hurts on several levels. This one hurts, and there is no spin that can make it better.

Last season we were lousy because we lost two bigs. Will you stop spinning, you are making us dizzy.

I don't think Patsos is any more confrontational than Fran was. I think you are down on JP and lack any objectivity at this point. The team has a lousy record, like it or not, this team isn't that talented. The loss of JO, while not wanted, is manageable and possibly may be a blessing. You are entitled to your views, mine are based on my actual observations. All I can say to your post is: Wrong, wrong, wrong and wrong! For a man proficient at verbosity I would expect this response.

I'm not one to stick up for MTS but really, Siena is not in that bad of shape. It still will come down to guard play. We still have the bigs to compete in this conference. Yeah, it hurts, but it's not the end of the world. We still have the frontcourt experience and individual skills for it to be a strength within the conference this year. JO hardly played when Siena won the 20 games and his FG% was sub 32%. Siena's D was 78th then and 333rd this past year. JO didn't draw charges, steal the ball, or rebound. His one good defensive skill was shot blocking. He plays soft. We still have all the skills he had and more on the roster. We just need to hope guys stay healthy and that we get good wing play. That's it. There is not one skill JO had that was the best on the roster. He had a good combo of skills but he wasn't the best at any one thing.

No spinning this-- it’s a bad loss to lose a local kid that plays and projects to be one of if not the best Big in MAAC next season. Agree that Imoh is fine- problem is Imoh has never been able to stay on floor more than 16min game without fouling out- so we are considerably weaker without JO—never good for a team to lose one of their better players coming off a 11-20 season
This is a big blow towards getting a top 4 finish – not impossible but now we have two ships to give- not confident current staff will land an “up” recruit.. Probably spin it that Gottfried is better than any recruit or transfer..LOL

JO was smart on this move. Because of injuries to Silas and Brett he got more PT and increased his numbers. Next year he definitely would have less time, lower numbers , and only 1 remaining year.
This was his best shot and he took advantage of it. I really don't think it amounts to more than that.
He would have been a good reserve, now he can find a school where he can start-- St Peter's ? Manhattan or FF?

Jimmy went out of his way to praise Quis and JO as the season wound down. Very surprised and disappointed at the news.
