We should get any kid locally we want. Can't give him a lot of credit for getting a kid from Troy, and beating out JMU. Siena beat out more than just JMU for JO. In addition to them, his other offers were Buffalo, Delaware, and Iowa State. So yeah, you should give him credit. C'mon, the guy was the lead recruiter here for 3 years and did nothing for us. People out here are saying how his "NY/NJ" ties are so important? Name a guy he bought in from there? Again, we should be getting any local mid-major kid we want, period.

No need to rehash losers, plenty of new blood available. Do the work find the right guy. I'm all for a shake up just don't think you need to clean house. You're calling Craig a "loser"? I would pay to see you tell him that to his face.

I wouldn't rehire a soul from that debacle. BTW nice guy yeah, but what exactly did Carter do for Siena (recruiting / coaching ) and what has he done since?

Well I'm 46 ( now an old man) and popped 430 last Fall at a meet with very little training but I'm not sure I could lift someone with such s day head.

Problem was Mitch was the closer, so they landed very few top targets. That's not on the assistant's. Look at this list of recruits Siena missed on during that staff's tenure posted by KK on the MAAC board - many of whom visited: Darrun Hilliard, Damion Lee, Maodo Lo, Andrew Nicholas, Brian Bernardi, Jordan Reed, Georges Niang, Kamari Murphy, Jerome Frink, Patrick Holloway, Charles Cooke, Brandon Taylor, Donovan Jack, Tyler Cavanaugh, Zach Auguste, Chavaughn Lewis, Kasim Chandler, Julian DeBose, Devin Coleman, Bryan Smith, Mandell Thomas, Emmy Andujar, Khem Birch, Kadeem Jack, Jeremiah Worthem, Andrew Chrabascz, Zaid Hearst You can't tell me this staff didn't bring 'em in. Mitch just couldn't close 'em. That's not on the assistants.

This is a business-- you want to get on top-- better get some top flight recruiters on the staff- not impressed at all with asst coaches we have--

Lots of recruits come to a school BECAUSE of the assistants, and not the head coach. For sure at the higher levels. BTW, Craig is as nice a guy as Mitch was. This is a professional evaluation, not personal.
