Anyone want to list out the ooc teams scheduled so far and maybe any other potentials? Want to see where I might be traveling next year.

At Vermont Hofstra St. Bona Albany??? at Cornell At Bucknell Loyola 4 games in an exempt event: word I'm hearing is At Duke to open the season Two games at Bryant (field is Radford and TBD) At Georgetown the Saturday after Thanksgiving Jimmy said on Rodger Wyland's show today that Siena would play at Duke/Georgetown/Wisconsin/VCU two of the four but did not say which two exactly. Maybe he couldn't officially reveal it because it is not set in stone yet but I'm sure you have it right KS. Also Nico recently tweeted to the effect that he couldn't believe he was going to play at Duke next year. www.foxsports980.com/onair/rodger-wyland-1777/jimmy-patsos-siena-basketball-coach-31015-13395219/UAlbany is still up in the air but he believes they will get a deal done. If not I guess there is one more game to fill. Next year's OOC schedule will be tougher than this past season's but it is manageable. 2014-15 RPIs to date: Duke - 5 Georgetown - 19 UAlbany - 110 (if contract gets signed) St. Bonaventure - 122 Bucknell - 138 Radford - 150 Hofstra - 171 Bryant - 192 Vermont - 206 Cornell - 231 Loyola - 271 (Wisconsin is 4, VCU 21)

Funny the UA game scenario has been quiet. Last quote from anyone was by JP, like it or not of the 4 best to handle the press. Candidly I personally just like the game to go away, if an equitable solution cannot ne negotiated. I believe both parties know the game needs to be held at the TUC, who knows. None of the people in the negotiations are business people.

If we can't keep Albany I would like to see a series with either a Bidton area school like NU or s Philly based school like LaSalle

104.5 The Team @1045theteam · 6h 6 hours ago
Jimmy Patsos in-studio: "We haven't really let this out, but we're probably going to open at Georgetown [next year]." sienasaintsI also heard from a little birdie that Siena will likely be at Georgetown and at VCU (instead of Duke). I'm guessing because both will be played on the same weekend and travel comes into play. I'd like to play at Duke just for the players to experience Cameron Indoor stadium and for the national exposure. Of course at VCU gives you a better chance to pull off an upset. Winning at Cameron with the homer refs and against Duke's players would be next to impossible.

Nothing is impossible in a DI basketball game.

Wow. Jimmy goes from an easy schedule (year 1) to a stupid easy schedule (year 2) to a brutal schedule (year 3). I guess he figures that if he's going to lose it may as well be to good teams. I'm in favor of that. At least our RPI will be better.

I'm in favor of that. At least our RPI will be better. I think that is what we should always do. If you lose to a bunch of Top 100 teams, there's always the chance for a 2nd life and a top finish in MAAC play. And if you do win in MAAC play, the RPI will be higher to warrant better seeding should you win. It's all about avoiding bad losses and going after good wins.

I like what he's saying. It sounds like he has really learned a lot this year. Being reflective and pointing the finger at yourself is a good thing. I also think he has read a lot of the criticism (maybe even here) aimed at him and is really going to work at improving his own shortcomings. Call me naïve but I think he's listening to criticism and we are going to see an improved performance by Jimmy next year.

Well it all sounds good. Patsos has answered some of the critics concerns. The schedule is improved next year, recruiting seems to have improved with two 3* recruits (still have to see how they play on the court, but at this stage seems to be an improvement), recruitment has been expanded to include NY and NE prep league and out year recruiting targets are from NY, Philly and MD. All we need now is what is most important, wins and competitive MAAC play. Let the off season begin and individual player development continue.

Georgetown could be upset-able early next year. Losing 4 of top 7. They will be relatively inexperienced on the interior while we'll be experienced there, if healthy.
If Wright slows down Smith-Rivera, could have a shot.
You know, this is all assuming Siena gets their heads out of their asses and games up CBI style.
