I agree with hockey guy and saidtis before (and was shot down). Way too many injuries to just be a fluke. Something to look into-- women's team hit with them too.

Nice PG match up between Wright/Robinson. Robinson prob the most improved player in the MAAC. He's had great year this year.

I have wondered about the shoe thing before. Early last season, our guys looked like they were on ice skates. I
question how good the UA footwear is and whether or not they contribute to the injuries.

Is this game on TV? Paper says that it's on ESPN3. Is there an ESPN3 channel on Time warner?

I just don't want to believe it because we wear them.

@ Saints22 = ESPN 3. If you have a TWC account, you can use the 'watch ESPN' option to see the game. TWC walked me through it the first time by calling customer svc., took about 5 minutes.

In terms of being a contender this season ended on Dec. 5th - Bisping going down for this team was catastrophic. Umm perspective dude.

I like Brett and agree that his injury hurt the team. But he isn't Showbiz, Hasbrouck, Ubiles or Franklin--an all-time Siena great. "Catastrophic" is way over the top. Unfortunately, we didn't adjust very well to losing a key player.

Yea I know, bisping waa the huge reason going from preseason 2nd place vote to 8th. The same player who a lot of people here said wouldn't start for a championship caliber team, too slow to play the 4, role player, Mitch's guy, etc. Now a bunch of freshman are going to turn it around. We're still a couple years away from anything special

Unfortunately, we didn't adjust very well to losing a key player. Catastrophic for a borderline contender yes. Brett isn't the most talented guy on the team but he has a big set of "onions" and held the team together. He didn't win CBI MVP as a fluke. Look back at past CBI MVPs all are really good players. Combine that with Imoh going down it devastated the front court. Brett/Imoh injuries were flukey - Poole seems to have a degenerative condition with his ankle which he aggravated during the FF game at home. Long never fully recovered from his ankle injury in late December. And of course Cole splintering the team hurt as well. Just a perfect storm of things and with a small margin for error you've got a bad season. Of course JO stepped up nicely but Jimmy really dropping the ball in recruiting last year and it came back to bite us right in the ass.
