Hertuer made an interesting remark several times. The caliber of players in that they do not shoot all that well has made the officiating of a game even more tenuous. That is that the players not relying on their outside shot drive into the lane and throw their body at the defender trying to get a foul called. One of the reasons why games have more fouls called and more drawn out. His opinion. AS stated before the new reality is that not only is the caliber of players down, the caliber of the reffing is down as well... that happens when you essentially have 50 extra crews that used to ref DII ball now reffing D1 games. They are not all the same...
