This is not a foul. Long had his arm up on defense and the Manhattan player ran into him and grabbed Longs arm. link

That play happpened right in front on me, and yes it was a foul. In fact Lavon hit a kid right before that out of frustration, and then this kid was trying to run by and Lavon clotheslined him. Ref, and everyone around us, could see he was taking his frustrations out on a previous questionable bad call on the Saints.
Worst call was the out of bounds call under the basket when it was crystal clear emmy knocked it out and they gave it back to Manhattan. The replay got shown and the arena erupted. Anyone else notice how long Pankey was in the paint on almost every post up attempt? It took 5 seconds to actually get the refs to blow their whistle which I think they did twice.

I was killing the refs on Pankey-- he was camping out in there , one sequence he was in paint a total of 10 seconds. I will say this, no way Pankey is 6'10" he is same height as JO-- and JO is better than Pankey- Pankey is almost 23 , JO isnt 20 yet. And dont get me going on Lawrence, those Manhattan fans like homo ( jome whatever his name is) were touting him as best big man in MAAC- he stinks, very little BB IQ

NO IDEA HOW TO START A NEW TOPIC
Siena Baseball beat U conn 3--1 at beautiful tradition field in Port Saint Lucie 84 and dry sunny all day well played game
Just to stay on topic it will be a shame if we loose any of the players due to return.......we need to continue building and supporting the kids we have.

Go to the "Home" page and pick which board you want to post on (this baseball thought would go under, "The MAAC and around the NCAA"), then look to the right, in the Green tool bar a few inches down, and you can see a "create thread" option. Then just post.

Sometimes when viewing games live, it happens so fast, what you believe you saw or what you remember isn’t necessary what really happened. The game is replayed on Feb 23, at 7:oo pm. After you review the play in question, let me know if you saw or remembered what really happened.
The Manhattan player grabbed Longs arms, long did not clotheslined him. IMO

I don't have TW. But I do remember the play. See if Lavon hits another Manhattan player right before that which caught the refs attention, then this "arm tangle" happpened, and he blew the whistle.
If Lavon is running next to him, not sure how the Manhattan player could grab his arm unless Lavon put it across his chest.

What, you can't watch it at work? I do have TW at one of the bars, but play poker on Monday nights, so......the Lavon-foul, or no foul, mystery will be left up for you guys to solve!

Speaking of debatable calls, how about the offensive foul called on Oliver as he brought the ball over the center line with a defender bumping him all the way? I'm no referee and maybe I missed something, but that one floored me.

This is not a foul. Long had his arm up on defense and the Manhattan player ran into him and grabbed Longs arm. linkThis is exactly what I am talking about. It is a grown man war in the paint and Lavon does not back down. The problem is all eyes are on him so its usually a double foul, foul on him, or no call. I have film on this stuff

simply, Lavon got tangled up and that call ALWAYS goes to the offensive players advantage..........end of argument.......................2 really bad calls, the out of bounds off Andujar (disgustingly awful right in front of ref, WTF) and non-call charge that Hymes drew on that late 3pter by Stores (in fact, there has to be a call there, it is either a block or a charge, ref did neither, if that play happens in the first minute of the game, whistle is obviously blown, ugh)................I hardly ever bitch about refs, but another issue I had in this game (although we have seen this by opponents all year), wild drives to the basket by players that essentially throw themselves into the Siena defender and constantly get the foul call even though they initiated the contact...... .....yet a number of times (and I say this because I know he is crazy driving against the trees way too many times), but Hymes did exactly that only to get "pin-balled" with no call (even Wright had 2 instances as well where he got bumped in the lane on an attempted finish but no whistle)...........crew was wildly inconsistent at best, or basically they just sucked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
