2nd day in a row that Bisping has practiced, has looked ok but just doing drill work not scrimmaging...................Patsos has stated he does not think he will see any more game action this yr..........................AND in a unique move, more so after the disheartening loss on Sunday, Jimmy put out a suggestion box and asked the players to write down a number of things.........................who should start? should we press? what plays work the best? what else each of them feels they should be doing, want they want to do or not want to do................the results & comments have not been made public, but would imagine it would be interesting to see what they wrote!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does that mean he's out of ideas? Good Lord.

Not a bad idea! Gets the team members to actually feel like part of the process. If they become more involved maybe they will become more emotionally invested in the outcome. Good to see Bisping getting back on the court.

Start Wright, Poole, Long, Paige, JO
Hymes needs to play 25-30 minutes of the bench filling in for the guards. This team can't survive without his energy.
Paige is shooting 80% from the line, plays tough, and currently has the best rebound rate on the team. Playing him more could both improve the defense and allow him to gain the confidence to find his offensive groove.
WB and Oliver fill in here and there depending on how they're playing.
Unfortunately, White is an empty uniform and hurts the team almost every time he's on the floor. He tries but it's just not there. He's one of the least efficient players in the country. His minutes usually come at Paige's expense and there's usually no good result. He wasn't that great last year and has surprisingly regressed. Time to move on and give Paige more time to develop to see if he's got anything more in the tank than what he's shown. Maybe his toughness will help the team win.

One problem with a suggestion box - if none of the suggestions are given the light of day on the practice floor and then in game, the kids will, as we all would, feel used as props. I would be shocked if some don't share their ideas with their closest teammates - not sure if all, on this team, are in sharing mode but it is a possibility. Jimmy can score a big win if he selects the best, gives credit and takes them to heart.

Hope this doesnt mean that hes lost control of the team but rather the sign of a group that wants to work together as a team.

Give the team more of a sense of ownership and involvement in the process. The key is to use the suggestions as more than just an intellectual exercise or it could backfire. If some of them are not implemented in some fashion then it could undermine team morale.

Sent from my SM-G900P using proboards I'm sure that after the coaching staff has perused the player input and evaluates it, there will be dialogue with the kids to implement strategies I think it's a fantastic idea by Jimmy. These kids are smart enough to understand and appreciate what the process will be. With good communication this could be very positive in a lot of ways.
