I think you are correct on that. He could just finish a second major, without taking graduate level courses.

I want Brett back for several reasons. Quite frankly the MAAC isn’t that strong- at this point hell I’d take the NCAA PiG. Secondly absolutely no guarantee Brett comes back at Siena for 5th year. Third- Class balance- we would be looking at replacing 4 starters in 2 years- never a recipe for success

The way the question is worded he would HAVE to come back or lose the year of eligibility anyway. Medical red-shirts are only given if the documented injury precludes him from playing.

I hope Brett redshirts and comes back for year 5. He would def help us maintain our size so we can play Patsos ball.

I like Lavon attacking from the foul line in, he's a handful. We desperately need to recruit a player who can play the three next year. Patsos ball LOL that's really been a work of art. I am not sure Brett would want to come back for year 5. I say play now if ready.

Patsos ball has us 1 game under 500 after 57 games. He gets a pass for this year because of injuries, but if he doesn't turn it around soon he will really feel the heat- Siena isn't Loyola- he will get fired here. Fans are already starting to lose patience with him and "Patsos" ball. Jimmy cannot make a mistake with next two rides

For a coach who has such a long MAAC tenure you would think he would have learned by now that guards win this league. Not big forwards on the outside. Actual guards who are fast, athletic, can shoot and dribble well. I mean what is with the flex offense passing back and forth up top until their is a favorable match-up (which are hard to come by with this team)? Run some high-low action, run some 1-4 high sets, motion offenses. Transition sets too. I can't watch the flex or high ball screen for 4more years.

We have a phenomenal PG in Wright who like Moore is fully capable of pushing the pace but we don't . We've showed flashes vs QU and when we jumped on FU. This flex O is painful to watch.

I don't think Bisping returning this year would provide much benefit unless he has strongly stated he would not return for a 5th year, making redshirting this year a moot point. I'm also not willing to give Patsos a pass for this year's disaster. The injuries may have kept us from the top of the league but there's no excuse for the inconsistent play, the poor game plans/scouting reports. Even a depleted roster should be putting better effort. I also am weary of his juvenile sideline antics and especially the open berating of his players. I'm sorry to say I strongly endorsed his hiring but humbly admit my error.

The flex looks like a lot of wasted energy to me. Guys running around with seemingly no purpose, clogging up the driving lanes. Perhaps this is why they are so lethargic on Defense. If the offense is painful to watch, the defense is like getting teeth pulled without novocaine. Or at least like getting a broken toe.

SR - I agree about growing weary of Jimmy's antics. We all knew this about him from his days at Loyola, but I foolishly thought he had that "somewhat" under control. My seat is behind the bench and many of us just laugh and shake our head now when he does his thing. I've begun to notice much of the bench at the end are hiding their reactions to his behavior but from my vantage there are a lot of giggles and heads down there. Makes me wonder how much they're buying into what he's selling. I thought Jimmy was a good fit at the time--he brought some swerve and swagger that had definitely been missing with Mitch. Now I know that injuries have played a HUGE part of the problems this year, but there is something missing from this team and it ain't just due to missing players. I'm sick of hearing Jimmy say sarcastically that it's on him or it's his fault and he's to blame. I think if he REALLY believed that, then he would change. Then we might see some change inthe way the team plays. I really hate sounding this negative. I'm still hopeful -or naive take your pick- that Jimmy can turn it around, but with each week that passes it seems like this year is becoming a lost cause. I'll still attend and I'll still be cheering- the players deserve our support. As for Brett--I don't think it matters much if he returns. Unless he can be the cure for the funk and inconsistency that plagues this team, I'd rather he come back 100% next year. If he chooses to play, then more power to him. I wish him well with which ever decision he makes. Let's steal one down at Draddy on Friday. GO SAINTS!

If you'd stop posting like you run the team, people might just accept your OPINIONS a little better.
